Pharmacological properties

The components of the collection include inulin, amino acids, glycosides, tannins, vitamins, essential oil, flavonoids, saponins, organic acids, micro- and macroelements. This complex of biologically active substances has a hypoglycemic effect in type 2 diabetes mellitus of mild and moderate severity, which makes it possible in some cases to reduce the daily dose of oral antidiabetic agents. In addition, it regulates the function of the gastrointestinal tract, stimulates the activity of the pancreas, normalizes metabolic processes, reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood, has anti-inflammatory, choleretic and diuretic effects.

Indication

Mild and moderate forms of type 2 diabetes; gastrointestinal diseases (enterocolitis, chronic pancreatitis, chronic cholecystitis).

Application

6 g (1 tablespoon) of the collection is placed in an enameled dish, poured with 300 ml (1.5 cups) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid and infused in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the residue to a strained infusion. The volume of the infusion is brought to 300 ml with boiled water. Adults take 1/2 cup warm 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. Children, depending on age, from 2 tablespoons to 1/3 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

2 filter bags are placed in a glass or enameled dish, poured with 300 ml (1.5 cups) of boiling water, closed and infused for at least 1 hour. Infusion is recommended to be carried out in a thermos. Adults take the infusion in a warm form, 1/2 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. Children, depending on age, from 2 tablespoons to 1/3 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days.

It is recommended to repeat the course of treatment after 7-10 days.

Pregnancy; individual hypersensitivity to biologically active substances contained in the medicinal product.
