Composition

1 capsule contains the following main ingredients: cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon) - 175 mg, sage extract (Salvia officinalis L.) - 50 mg, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - 40 mg,

excipients: sunflower oil - 270 mg, soy lecithin - 13,440 mg, beeswax - 16,060 mg, capsule shell: gelatin, glycerin, dye - black iron oxide.

Properties

A urinary tract infection occurs when the level of bacteria in the organs of the urinary system increases significantly: in the urethra, bladder, ureters or kidneys. The most common type of urinary tract infection is cystitis - inflammation of the bladder. An infection that has reached the kidneys is called pyelonephritis. The main causative agent of both diseases is the Escherichia coli, but in rare cases the causative agent can be other bacteria, viruses or fungi. Symptoms of cystitis include painful and frequent urination, while in pyelonephritis, fever and renal colic are added to the above symptoms.

The pharmacological activity of Salviren is due to the complex action of cranberry and sage extracts. Cranberry bioflavonoids "proanthocyanidins" prevent pathogenic bacteria (mainly E.coli) from attaching and multiplying on the mucous membrane of the bladder and causing inflammation. Cranberry proanthocyanidins exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, wound-healing properties and enhance the effect of antibiotics and antiseptic drugs.

Organic acids in cranberries and sage exhibit antibacterial properties and prevent the formation of kidney stones.

Cranberry and sage flavonoids (rutin, quercetin) help protect the body from free radicals, stabilize capillaries, and enhance the biological activity of ascorbic acid.

Sage extract contains salvin, which improves antimicrobial and antiseptic properties.

Vitamin C helps increase the body's resistance to infections, reduce capillary permeability and fragility.

Recommendations for use

Dietary supplement to the main diet, which can be recommended as an additional source of flavonoids (proanthocyanidins), including flavonols and their glycosides (quercetin), organic acids, vitamin C, salvin to prevent the penetration of bacteria into the mucous membranes of the urinary tract and prevent the development of bacterial infections and recurrences of chronic nonspecific urinary tract infections.
