Pharmacodynamics

Cmin preparations, which contain flavonoids, diterpene alcohol, steroid compounds, phenolic dyes, fatty acids, inositol, essential oil, are choleretic agents, increase bile secretion, reduce the concentration of bile acids and bilirubin content in bile, change the cholesterol/bile acid ratio towards an increase in cholates, increase gallbladder tone, stimulate the secretory function of the stomach and pancreas, and increase diuresis.

Indication

Use as a choleretic agent for chronic diseases of the liver and gallbladder (chronic cholecystitis, cholecystoangiocholitis, cholelithiasis, chronic hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia).

Contraindication

Increased individual sensitivity to the drug. Obstructive jaundice, cholelithiasis with stones more than 10 mm in diameter. Acute inflammatory diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Children's age up to 3 years.

Method of administration and doses

Place 3–4 g of flowers (1 tablespoon) in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in boiling water (in a water bath) for 30 minutes. Cool at room temperature and strain. Squeeze out the remaining raw materials, bring the volume of the resulting infusion to 200 ml with boiled water.

Adults should take 1/2 cup warm 2–3 times a day 15–20 minutes before meals. Children aged 3–7 years – 1 dessert spoon, 7–12 years – 1 tablespoon, 12–14 years – 2 tablespoons, over 14 years – 1/4 cup 2–3 times a day 15–20 minutes before meals.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

The duration of the treatment course is determined individually, taking into account the nature, severity and characteristics of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect and the tolerability of the drug.

Children

Use in children over 3 years of age as prescribed by a doctor.
