Active ingredients

"Schizandrin®" is a new herbal hepatoprotector, the active ingredient of which is schizandrin - a biologically active compound from the group of lignans of Chinese lemongrass. Under the influence of "Schizandrin®", hepatocyte functions are restored in liver damage of various etiologies, the level of liver enzymes is normalized, the activity of markers of cytolysis, cholestasis, and immune inflammation is reduced. "Schizandrin®" restores pathomorphological disorders of the structure of liver tissue, reduces the activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase. "Schizandrin®" inhibits the production of highly sensitive C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) by active neutrophils, Kupffer cells and macrophages, helps reduce free radical processes, inhibits oxidative stress caused by impaired mitochondrial function and apoptosis of hepatocytes. "Schizandrin®" helps normalize symptoms of liver dysfunction (heaviness in the right upper quadrant, dyspeptic phenomena, including flatulence, appetite disturbance, bitter taste in the mouth, nausea), reduces manifestations of asthenic syndrome, increases tolerance to physical exertion in patients. Contraindication
