Properties

Sea buckthorn oil is a product rich in carotenoids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and vitamin E. Due to the presence of fat-soluble bioantioxidants, sea buckthorn oil reduces the destructive power of toxic substances, peroxide compounds, and other aggressive factors. It protects cell membranes and intracellular structures and helps accelerate healing processes in case of damage to the skin and mucous membranes. It has a bactericidal (inhibits the growth of bacteria) and enveloping effect, improves the body's defenses.

Sea buckthorn oil can also be recommended for digestive system diseases. When taken orally, it reduces acidity, improves digestion and lipid metabolism, and regulates the secretion of gastric juice.

Recommendations for use

externally - for burns, bedsores, radiation injuries of the skin and mucous membranes - in the form of bandages;

locally as an auxiliary tool in a complex of preventive measures for:

inflammation of the tonsils and in the recovery period after acute pathology of the tonsils (tonsillitis, angina), maxillary sinuses (sinusitis);

gynecological diseases (colpitis, endocervicitis, cervical erosion) – in the form of tampons,

anal fissures, hemorrhoids, etc. – in the form of tampons or microenemas;

in the form of inhalations - as part of a complex of preventive measures for inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (nasopharynx, vocal cords, trachea).

Method of application

Apply externally, every other day, in the form of oil bandages after cleaning the affected skin surface from necrotic tissue until areas of tissue regeneration appear.

For gynecological diseases – colpitis, endocervicitis – use cotton swabs moistened with oil and lubricate the vaginal walls and vagina. The course is 10–15 procedures.

For rectal fissures, it is used in the form of tampons, abundantly soaked in sea buckthorn oil. The course of use is 5-7 procedures.

In case of pathology of ENT organs - a condition after tonsillitis, chronic pharyngitis - cotton swabs soaked in sea buckthorn oil are used to lubricate the tonsils and pharynx; in case of chronic sinusitis, gauze turundas soaked in oil are inserted into the external nasal passages (having previously freed them from the contents). The course of use when used for ENT organs is 8-10 procedures. If necessary, the course can be repeated after 4-6 weeks.

Application features

Individual intolerance, tendency to allergic reactions. When taken internally - contraindicated in inflammatory processes of the gallbladder, liver, pancreas, cholelithiasis
