Composition

1 tablet contains: main ingredient: L-selenomethionine – 250 mcg (mcg) (corresponds to 100 mcg (mcg) of selenium); excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, bulking agent: croscarmellose sodium, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium stearate; tablet shell yellow 113U220035.

Properties

Selenium is one of the essential (important) trace elements for the human body, as it affects the activity of enzymes that have antioxidant, immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects. Selenium prevents the oxidation of cell membranes, preventing degenerative changes in body cells, thereby slowing down the aging process of the body. Selenium is also known for its positive effect on the reproductive health of men and women, the condition of hair, skin, and nails.

Selenium deficiency is observed during physical exertion, stress, in old age, with an unbalanced diet, with alcohol abuse and excessive smoking. In addition, the lack of a trace element is recorded in oncological, cardiovascular, rheumatic, acute respiratory diseases, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Selenium deficiency is one of the most significant factors in the development and progression of thyroid diseases.

Indications for use

The dietary supplement SELENORM is recommended as an additional source of selenium to eliminate its deficiency in the body. The use of L-selenomethionine (a natural, organic form of selenium, which is present in certain types of nuts, grains, legumes) ensures a high level of selenium absorption by the body as a result of absorption in the intestines.

Method of administration and doses

Adults should take 1 tablet once a day during or after meals, with drinking water.

The recommended daily dose may be changed by the doctor individually. The course of consumption is determined by the doctor.
