Instructions for Sensivit eye and nasal moisturizing drops 10 ml
Composition
1 ml of solution contains 3 mg of carmellose sodium; excipients: vitamin E, vitamin A, polysorbate 80, hydrocyclopropylbetadex, sodium chloride, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, sodium tetraborate, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, water for injections.
Properties
SENSIVIT (eye drops) is a medical product that has a soothing and moisturizing effect. It stabilizes all three layers of the tear film on the surface of the eye. SENSIVIT contains carmellose sodium, which, due to its properties, forms a temporary protective film on the surfaces of the cornea and conjunctiva, thus providing the necessary moisturizing effect. Thus, SENSIVIT stabilizes the aqueous part of tears; contains vitamin A, which supports the formation of the inner mucous part of the tear film. Together with vitamin E, it improves the nutrition of the cornea and conjunctiva. The substances that make up the medical product also support the outer (lipid) part of the tear film. Thus, it prevents the surface of the eye from drying out quickly. Strengthening the thin layer of the tear film on the surface of the eye or replacing it in all three layers occurs in the same way. This significantly enhances the protective effect of tears.
Note
SENSIVIT (nasal drops) contains the thickener sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. Carboxymethyl cellulose forms a temporary protective barrier film on the nasal mucosa and acts as a moisturizer. Thus, SENSIVIT strengthens the barrier functions of the nasal mucosa. Vitamin A plays an important role in ensuring the structure and function of the nasal epithelium. Topical application of vitamin A leads to the growth of epithelial cells of the mucous membrane, which can protect against infections and has an antioxidant effect.
Recommendations for use
SENSIVIT is used for insufficient tear production and all types of dry eye syndrome on the recommendation of a doctor. SENSIVIT can be used for conditions that require the formation of a protective moist film on the cornea and conjunctiva.
Note
SENSIVIT is used to reduce the feeling of nasal dryness and regenerate irritated nasal mucosa in dry rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis, acute rhinitis, erosions and ulcers of the nasal membrane, perforation of the nasal membrane, injuries of the nasal mucosa, in the postoperative period (septoplasty, adenoidectomy).
