SensoLite Nova test strips No. 50

Test strips for the SensoLite Nova blood glucose meter (50 pcs.) Are intended for quantitative measurement of glucose concentration in whole blood with glucometers.
Advantages
The SensoLite Nova measuring range is 1.1-33.3 mmol/L (20-600 mg/dL).
Sample volume
To determine blood glucose levels using SensoLite Nova test strips, just one drop of blood is enough. The minimum sample volume is 0.5 μl.
Precautions
SensoLite Nova test strips should only be used for in vitro diagnostics (for external use only).
Do not use test strips after the expiration date. Do not use test strips if they are wet, wrinkled, scratched, or otherwise damaged. Do not reuse test strips. If your symptoms do not match the test results, consult your doctor for advice. If the test results are higher or lower than expected, repeat the test. Elevated or decreased red blood cell counts (hematocrit below 30% or above 55%) may affect the accuracy of the result. Never change your diabetes treatment regimen or ignore symptoms without consulting your doctor. Before first use or before using strips from a new pack, set the strip code. The SensoLite Nova systems use an internal code. A code strip is supplied with each test strip pack and contains encoded alphanumeric information that corresponds to the code value of that particular strip container. Coding the SensoLite Nova meter involves entering the code on the strip container label. This must be done each time a new pack is opened (either with strips or manually). The code value entered into the meter must match the code value on the label or code strip. To enter the code correctly, refer to the “Introducing Code Strips” section in the SensoLite Nova meter user manual.
Limitation
SensoLite Nova test strips are intended for the determination of glucose levels in whole capillary blood and SHOULD NOT be used for the analysis of plasma or serum. Hematocrit: A hematocrit between 30-55% does not affect the result. Very high (above 55%) or very low (below 30%) hematocrits may adversely affect the accuracy of the result. Neonates: SensoLite Nova test strips should not be used for the analysis of blood in neonates, as SensoLite Nova and SensoLite Nova Plus have not been tested in neonates. Do not use fluoride-containing preservatives in blood samples. Elevated levels of certain substances in the blood (e.g. elevated levels of ascorbic acid or uric acid) may affect the accuracy of the results. In such cases, the results of a test performed for diagnostic purposes should be interpreted with extreme caution. The presence of levodopa or dopamine in the blood when taking these medications may affect the accuracy of the results (elevated glucose levels) obtained by the SensoLite Nova systems.Validity
The validity of the results obtained with the SensoLite Nova was evaluated in a comparative clinical study involving patients with diabetes mellitus. Control measurements were performed using other previously tested equipment. The blood glucose levels in the analyzed samples ranged from 4.0 mmol/L to 26.4 mmol/L according to the control measurements.
Precision
The test complies with EN ISO 15197:2003
SensoLite Nova test strips were subjected to laboratory testing using fresh venous blood containing sodium (EDTA) with varying glucose levels.
Analysis of all results showed that the error of a single analysis was 3.65%, and the total error was 3.42%, which indicates the high accuracy of the SensoLite Nova test system and test strips.
