D-mannose has an anti-adhesive effect due to its ability to prevent the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria, mainly E. coli, to the mucous membrane of the bladder. D-mannose, entering the bladder unchanged, attaches to pathogenic bacteria and is excreted during urination. Thus, D-mannose prevents the development of urinary tract infections.
Cranberry extract has antibacterial activity due to the content of proanthocyanidins (PACs), substances that cause damage to the bacterial membrane, preventing the reproduction and adhesion of uropathogenic bacteria to the epithelial cells of the urinary tract. Biologically active components of cranberries and vitamin C contribute to the process of acidification of urine, which creates an environment unfavorable for the growth and reproduction of pathogenic bacteria in the urinary tract.
Burkhavia prosterta and Phyllanthus niruri, possessing pronounced antiseptic activity, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antispasmodic action, supplemented by diuretic and litholytic properties, allow them to be effectively used in diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract: cystitis, pyelonephritis. Indications for use
Acute and chronic recurrent infections of the urinary system: cystitis, pyelonephritis. Asymptomatic bacteriuria. Nonspecific bacterial urethritis. Prevention of urinary tract infections after operations and urological manipulations (catheterization and cystoscopy).
Dosage and method of administration.
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 capsule 1-2 times a day, in the morning and before bedtime after emptying the bladder. Take after meals, with a glass of water. The recommended course of therapy is from 14 days to 1 month.
As a prophylactic for frequently recurring cystitis, 1 capsule per day, 2 weeks per month for 3 months.
