"Season" tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (including annual allergic rhinitis) and urticaria.
Composition
The active substance is levocetirizine (one film-coated tablet contains 5 mg of levocetirizine dihydrochloride in terms of 100% substance).
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose; lactose, monohydrate; colloidal anhydrous silica; magnesium stearate; coating: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; polyethylene glycol 6000; titanium dioxide (E171).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine, cetirizine, hydroxyzine, to any other piperazine derivatives or to any other excipient of the drug; severe chronic renal failure (creatinine clearance <10 ml/minute); rare hereditary conditions of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption; pregnancy or breastfeeding.Method of application
The drug is taken orally, regardless of food intake. The tablet should be swallowed whole, washed down with a small amount of water. It is recommended to take the daily dose in one dose.
The drug is prescribed for adults and children from 6 years of age.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: the daily dose is 5 mg (one film-coated tablet) once a day.
Pediatric population
Children from 6 to 12 years of age: the recommended daily dose is 5 mg (one film-coated tablet).
For children aged 2 to 6 years, dose adjustment of the drug in this dosage form (film-coated tablet) is not possible. It is recommended to take levocetirizine in another dosage form suitable for use in pediatrics.
Duration of use
Patients with intermittent allergic rhinitis (symptoms present for less than 4 days per week or for less than 4 weeks per year) should be treated according to the disease and history; treatment can be discontinued if symptoms disappear and can be resumed if symptoms recur. In case of persistent allergic rhinitis (symptoms present for more than 4 days per week and for more than 4 weeks per year), the patient may be offered continuous therapy during the period of contact with allergens. There is clinical experience with levocetirizine for a minimum of 6 months of treatment. In chronic diseases (chronic allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria), the duration of treatment is up to 1 year (data from clinical studies using the racemate).

Overdose
Symptoms: Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness in adults and initial agitation and increased irritability followed by drowsiness in children.
Treatment. There is no specific antidote for levocetirizine. In case of symptoms of overdose, symptomatic and supportive therapy is recommended. Gastric lavage may be considered shortly after administration. Hemodialysis is not effective in removing levocetirizine from the body.
Side effects
Immune system disorders: hypersensitivity, including anaphylaxis.
Metabolic: increased appetite.
From the nervous system: drowsiness, headache, fatigue, weakness, asthenia, convulsions, paresthesia, dizziness, fainting, tremor, dysgeusia.
Psychiatric: sleep disturbances, agitation, hallucinations, depression, aggression, insomnia, suicidal thoughts.
Cardiac: palpitations, tachycardia.
On the part of the organs of vision: visual impairment, blurred vision.
On the part of the organs of hearing: vertigo.
From the hepatobiliary system: hepatitis.
From the urinary system: dysuria, urinary retention.
Respiratory system: shortness of breath.
Gastrointestinal tract: diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, nausea, abdominal pain.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: angioedema, persistent drug eruptions, pruritus, rash, urticaria.
Musculoskeletal system: myalgia, arthralgia.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.
