Instructions for Setria Forte Glutathione tablets No. 30
Composition
One tablet contains:
active ingredients: 500 mg of L-glutathione reduced Setria; licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 278 mg (in terms of glycyrrhizic acid, it corresponds to 50.04 mg);
excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, dicalcium phosphate.
Properties
Setria is a special form of the tripeptide reduced L-glutathione, which is able to increase the level of the body's own glutathione.
The reduced form of L-glutathione (GSH) is the biologically active form.
Glutathione is an antioxidant and plays a role in the detoxification of drugs and xenobiotics. The main function of glutathione is to protect the body's cells from oxidative stress and toxins.
*L-glutathione Setria has an effect on the immune system: in a clinical study, it demonstrated the ability to stimulate T-lymphocyte proliferation and increase the cytotoxicity of NK blood cells by two times from baseline after 3 months of administration at a dosage of 1000 mg/day (*1).
*In a pilot clinical study, L-glutathione demonstrated potential therapeutic effects in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (*3).
Glyceric acid (*2) acts similarly to corticosteroid hormones, exhibiting:
- anti-inflammatory effect (associated with the property to stimulate the synthesis of anti-inflammatory cytokines: interleukins (IL)-IL-2, IL-10, IL-12 and inhibit the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines: IL-8, IL-1β, tumor necrosis factor α);
- antiviral effect (associated with the induction of interferon formation). Active against DNA and RNA viruses, including various strains of Herpes simplex viruses, Varicella zoster, human papillomaviruses, cytomegaloviruses;
- antifibrotic effect (explained by the predominant effect on collagen production by liver stellate cells and the destruction of activated Ito cells with the participation of natural killers);
- anticarcinogenic effect (associated with the ability to increase the concentration of cytochrome P450 (CYP) in the liver).
Recommendations for use
On the recommendation of a doctor, it is used as a dietary supplement to the diet for:
- liver dysfunction of various origins (chronic hepatitis of various etiologies, liver fibrosis);
- manifestations of toxic effects of the use of medicines; in case of poisoning with toxic substances;
- dermatitis;
- viral and bacterial diseases.
Setria is a clinically studied and patented form of reduced L-glutathione, produced through an innovative natural fermentation process.
Method of application
The daily dosage, frequency and duration of administration are determined individually by the doctor. Take during meals, without chewing and with a small amount of liquid.
Reservation
Use with caution in patients with arterial hypertension and a tendency to edema.
Do not use as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Not recommended for pregnant women and children under 18 years of age. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor. It is not a medicine.
Contraindication
