Composition

1 capsule contains 1000 mg of fish oil, which provides omega-3 nutrients (300 mg): eicosapentaenoic acid (180 mg), docosahexaenoic acid (120 mg);

excipients: gelatin, glycerin.

Properties

The effect of Smart Omega in diseases of the cardiovascular system is based on the hypolipidemic, antiatherogenic, antiplatelet, hypocoagulant and vasodilating effects of EPA and DHA.

When omega-3 PUFAs enter the body, the synthesis of VLDL and LDL is inhibited, and their excretion with bile is improved; omega-3 PUFAs contribute to the prolongation of the blood clotting period, the reduction of platelet aggregation ability due to the competitive displacement of arachidonic acid from cell membranes, which is the main substrate for the synthesis of prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes. Omega-3 PUFAs contribute to peripheral vasodilation, a decrease in whole blood viscosity, an increase in erythrocyte fluidity, and an increase in fibrinolysis.

By integrating into the structure of cell membranes, omega-3 PUFAs return their semi-liquid consistency, while significantly improving the conduction of nerve impulses. A person becomes more energetic, proactive, improves mood, memory, intellectual abilities, and the tendency to depression, anxiety, and mood swings disappears.

Recommendations for use

In the complex therapy of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, hypertension;

in secondary prevention of myocardial infarction in addition to standard treatment methods;

for hypertriglyceridemia as an adjunct to diet therapy;

for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases in patients at high risk of developing them;

for the prevention and correction of chronic fatigue syndrome, improving the functioning of the CNS;

Method of administration and doses

Adults and children over 12 years old - 1-2 capsules per day with meals. The course of use is 30 days, the further period of use should be agreed with the doctor.

Hypersensitivity to product components.

Do not exceed the indicated daily dose. Do not use if the package is damaged. This product should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised to do so by a doctor. This also applies to women planning to become pregnant. When used simultaneously with any medications, consult a doctor. Excessive use of Smart Omega may cause a laxative effect.
