Description

Sodium chloride solution belongs to electrolytes and plasma replacement solutions. It is indicated for:

preparation of drug solutions for external and parenteral use; topical application for washing wounds, nasal mucosa; normalization of water-salt balance and fluid deficit in the body; during operations on abdominal organs, peritonitis; the drug improves tissue perfusion, increases the effectiveness of blood transfusion measures in massive blood loss and severe forms of shock; also exhibits a detoxification effect due to a short-term increase in fluid volume, a decrease in the concentration of toxic products in the blood, and activation of diuresis.

Composition

1 ml of solution contains 9 mg of sodium chloride;

excipient: water for injections.

Contraindication

incompatibility of the main drug and the solvent; the drug should not be used for eye irrigation during ophthalmic operations.

Method of application

The drug is compatible with most drugs, so it should be used to dissolve various drugs.

Before dissolving the medicinal product, it should be checked whether it is possible to use sodium chloride solution to dissolve this medicinal product.
