Soluro Duo is a highly effective herbal uroantiseptic for use in diseases of the urinary system. Cranberry extract (Vaccinium microcarpum) contains a large amount of organic acids (hippuric, citric, malic, benzoic, ursolic, quinic) and flavonoids (flavones or flavonoglycosides, flavonones or flavonoglycosides, proanthocyanidins, tannins, etc.). Cranberry extract reduces the content of oxalate and some other lithogenic factors. The level of acidity of urine increases, which prevents the connection of calcium and phosphorus ions, which are involved in the formation of insoluble stones, thus preventing the processes of lithogenesis. Proanthocyanidins, as a component of cranberries, inhibit the adhesion of uropathogenic strains of E. coli by blocking P-fimbriae and have a high concentration in urine, which prevents the formation of biofilms. Also, proanthocyanidins are able to affect the separation of P-fimbriae from the bacteria themselves. The ability to inhibit the adhesion of protozoa from urinary isolates of Proteus spp., P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, S. typhimurium and E. faecalis to epithelial cells of the human urinary tract has been established. Cranberry concentrate has bacteriostatic, bactericidal, fungicidal, fungistatic, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, antioxidant, synergistic, antilithogenic and diuretic properties.

D-mannose is a monosaccharide that is practically not metabolized in the human body. About 90% of D-mannose is excreted unchanged in the urine. D-mannose has antimicrobial and fungicidal properties (mainly against Escherichia coli, Candida albicans). D-mannose slows down the adhesion of bacteria to the walls of the urinary tract epithelium, connecting with them and causing them to be excreted with urine.

Recommendations for use

Soluro Duo is recommended as an additional source of biologically active substances to normalize the functional state of the urinary tract in acute infections of the kidneys and urinary tract (urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis); exacerbation of chronic infections of the kidneys and urinary tract; in the remission stage to prevent relapse; asymptomatic bacteriuria; urolithiasis; after instrumental interventions on the urinary tract (cystoscopy, urethroscopy, lithotripsy, etc.); during antibiotic therapy to enhance their effectiveness; for the prevention of inflammation of the mucous membranes of the urinary tract.

Method of administration and doses

Adults and children aged 12 years and older should take 1 red capsule once a day after meals for 15 days and 2 clear capsules twice a day for 4 days or as directed by a doctor. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking Soluro Duo. For prevention, it is recommended to take 1 red capsule and 1 clear capsule once a day for 15 days.

Reservation

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Soluro Duo should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is prescribed exclusively by a doctor.
