Composition

active ingredient: St. John's wort herb (Hyperici herba);

1 filter bag contains 1.5 g of St. John's wort herb (Hyperici herba).

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

Biologically active substances of the drug have an astringent, anti-inflammatory and some antimicrobial effect, which promotes tissue regeneration; moderately affect bile secretion, stimulate gastric secretion.

Indication

As part of complex therapy for diseases of the biliary tract (biliary dyskinesia, cholecystitis); gastrointestinal tract (acute and chronic colitis, diarrhea, flatulence, hypoacid gastritis).

In inflammatory processes of the oral cavity (gingivitis, stomatitis).

Contraindication

Individual hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug. Arterial hypertension.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

It is not recommended for use in patients taking anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, contraceptives, antihypertensives, calcium channel blockers, female sex hormones, hypocholesterolemic agents (statins), and cardiac glycosides.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

The use of the drug in some patients may cause an increase in blood pressure, so caution should be exercised when driving or working with complex mechanisms.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Internal use of the drug is contraindicated.

Method of administration and doses

Place 1.5 tablespoons of the herb in an enameled dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. Strain, squeeze the residue to a strained decoction. Bring the volume of the decoction to 200 ml with boiled water.

Apply warm 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals: adults and children over 16 years old - ⅓ cup, children 12-14 years old - 1-2 tablespoons, children 15-16 years old - ¼ cup.

Place 2 filter bags in a glass or enameled container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and let stand for 15 minutes. Use warm 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals: adults and children over 16 years old - ½ - 1 cup, children 12-14 years old - ¼ cup, children 15-16 years old - ½ - ¼ cup.

Externally used to rinse the mouth.

Store the prepared infusion at a temperature of 8-15 °C for no more than 2 days.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.

Children

The drug is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

Overdose

Overdose and prolonged use causes a bitter taste in the mouth and discomfort in the liver area.

Adverse reactions

Increased blood pressure; allergic reactions (hyperemia, rash, swelling and itching of the skin); photosensitization (UV radiation should be avoided during treatment).

Expiration date

3 years.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, out of the reach of children.
