St. John's wort herb pack with inner bag 60 g

St. John's wort is indicated as part of complex therapy for diseases of the biliary tract (biliary dyskinesia, cholecystitis), the gastrointestinal tract (acute and chronic colitis, diarrhea, flatulence, hypoacid gastritis), and inflammatory processes in the oral cavity (gingivitis, stomatitis).

Composition

Active ingredient: St. John's wort herb (Hyperici herba);

1 pack contains 60 g or 75 g of St. John's wort herb (Hyperici herba).

Contraindication

Individual hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug. Arterial hypertension.

Method of application

Place 1.5 tablespoons of the herb in an enameled dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. Strain, squeeze the residue into the strained broth. Bring the volume of the broth to 200 ml with boiled water.

Apply warm 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals: adults and children over 16 years old - ⅓ cup, children 12-14 years old - 1-2 tablespoons, children aged 15-16 years old - ¼ cup.

Children

The drug is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

Drivers

The use of the drug may cause an increase in blood pressure in some patients, so caution should be exercised when driving and operating machinery.

Overdose

Overdose and prolonged use causes a feeling of bitterness in the mouth and unpleasant sensations in the liver area.

Side effects

Increased blood pressure; allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, edema and itching of the skin) photosensitization (UV radiation should be avoided during treatment).

Interaction

It is not recommended for use in patients taking anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, contraceptives, hypotensive calcium channel blockers, female sex hormones, hypocholesterolemic agents (statins), and cardiac glycosides.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, out of the reach of children.
