Composition
active ingredient: citrulline malate;
1 sachet contains 1 g of citrulline malate;

Pharmacodynamics
Citrulline malate is an equimolecular mixture of malate and L-citrulline.
Malate stimulates the Krebs cycle and activates the mechanism of energy production at the cellular level, reduces lactate levels in the blood and tissues, prevents the development of lactic acidosis and increases ATP levels. Citrulline is one of the amino acids that is part of the urea cycle, activating the formation and excretion of urea from the body.
Pharmacokinetics
Citrulline malate is rapidly absorbed from the intestine. Peak concentrations are reached after 45 minutes, exceeding the initial concentration by 6–15 times, and return to baseline levels after 5–6 hours.
Indication
Symptomatic treatment of functional asthenia:
physical asthenia; mental asthenia; post-infectious asthenia; postoperative asthenia; asthenia in the elderly; asthenia in athletes; vegetative-vascular dystonia of the hypotonic type; alcohol withdrawal syndrome; sexual asthenia.
The drug is indicated for symptoms of asthenia: general weakness, emotional lability, chronic fatigue, low performance, drowsiness.
The drug is indicated for muscle pain and cramps caused by lactate accumulation after physical exertion. It is recommended during the period of convalescence in diseases that lead to the development of asthenovegetative syndrome.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Gastric or duodenal ulcer.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Unknown.
Application features
One sachet of Stimol® contains approximately 30 mg (1.3 mmol) of sodium to bring the pH of the solution to 3.3. This should be taken into account when using the drug in patients on a salt-free diet.

Method of administration and doses
Administer orally, after dissolving the contents of the sachet in 100 ml of water or a sweetened beverage. Take with meals.
Adults: 1 sachet 3 times a day.
Children over 6 years old: 1 sachet 2 times a day.
The recommended course of treatment is 4 weeks.
Children
The efficacy and safety of the drug in children under 6 years of age have not been sufficiently studied. The drug should be used in children over 6 years of age.

In some cases, slight pain in the epigastrium and allergic reactions are possible.
