Alterna Free new generation convex drained stool container 15-43 mm (17511)

In the Alterna® Free single-component, drainable stool absorbers, the spiral adhesive plate is permanently attached to the ostomy bag. When replacing, the disposable single-component stool absorber is completely removed.
The Alterna® Free line of one-piece opaque drained colostomy bags includes integrated flat and convex adhesive plates with various stoma cutouts.

The Alterna® spiral adhesive sheet consists of two alternating layers of adhesives and remains firmly attached to the skin; thanks to its ability to absorb moisture from the skin, it keeps the skin underneath it and protects it from irritation.

The convenient and invisible one-component drained colostomy bag Alterna® Free has a number of features:

Built-in Hide-away® Velcro fastener that can be tucked under the non-woven cover of the bag, allowing for easy and quick draining of the bag. A multi-layer built-in filter minimizes the risk of bag bloating, regulates the amount of gas in the bag and neutralizes odor. The durable double-sided soft non-woven cover has water-repellent properties and dries quickly after water procedures.

Indication

Colostomy bags with integrated convex plates for retracted stomas.

The Alterna Free One-piece Drainable Stoma Syringe with built-in convex plate is suitable for flat or retracted stomas, as well as stomas located between skin folds. The convex plate puts pressure on the area around the stoma, raising it above the skin level, thereby reducing the risk of intestinal contents leaking under the plate.
