Subclavian venous catheter KV-3 2.0 x 1.4 with butterfly

The catheter is intended for insertion into central vessels using the Seldinger method. Catheterization is used for long-term and repeated administration of drugs when transfusion through peripheral veins is not possible, as well as for parenteral nutrition.
How to use
For catheterization, the central vein is punctured with a special needle of the appropriate diameter. The ends of the guide wire are carefully trimmed, which facilitates its smooth sliding in the lumen of the vessel. The guide wire is inserted into the vein through the lumen of the needle. The depth of insertion of the guide wire depends on the working length of the corresponding venous catheter.
The guide wire is fixed in the lumen, after which the puncture needle is withdrawn. The guide wire is used to insert the catheter into the vein to a depth corresponding to the length of its working part.
