What is the gut microbiota?
The gut microbiota, formerly known as the “gut flora,” is the microbial population present in our digestive system, which is predominantly composed of bacteria. In adults, the gut microbiota can contain up to 1014 microorganisms living in harmony with each other, a number ten times greater than the total number of cells in the human body. It is now known that the gut microbiota plays an important role in maintaining human health by producing nutrients, stimulating the immune system, and creating a protective barrier against pathogens.

What is special about SYMBIOSIS Bebicol?
SYMBIOSIS Bebicol contains the bacterial strains Bifidobacterium breve BR03 and Bifidobacterium breve B632, studied in scientific research.
These bacterial strains are stored in international private collections with the status of an IDA (International Depositary Authority). These bacterial species are on the Qualified Presumption of Safety (QPS) list, which indicates that the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recognizes the bacterial strains that make up Bebicol as safe.
These selected bacteria are protected from the effects of stomach acid and certain environmental factors thanks to a patented microencapsulation method.
In childhood, the most common representatives of the intestinal microflora are bifidobacteria, especially in breastfed children.
Intestinal colic in newborns is most often manifested by uncontrollable crying, which is observed in infants and young children without any obvious reasons.
In scientific studies, it was noted that in children with intestinal colic, a decrease in the number of bifidobacteria in the intestine and an increase in gas-forming bacteria are quite often observed. Therefore, disturbances in the intestinal microbiota are considered as a possible cause that leads to increased gas formation and the occurrence of intestinal colic in infants. Bifidobacteria Bifidobacterium breve BR03 and Bifidobacterium breve B632 have the property of suppressing the growth of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, in particular E. coli, salmonella, clostridia, etc. due to the production of bacteriocins and organic acids. Which, in turn, contributes to maintaining the population of bifidobacteria and restoring normal microflora, reducing gas formation and preventing the development of intestinal colic, reducing the duration of crying in infants.
Five drops of SYMBIOSIS Bebicol provide the consumption of 108 cells of each bacterial strain.
Recommendations for use
SYMBIOSIS Bebicol is recommended as a functional baby food in addition to the main diet as an additional source of viable bacteria Bifidobacterium breve BR03 and Bifidobacterium breve B632 to promote the normalization of intestinal microflora and its functional state, to prevent disruption of intestinal microflora, which, in turn, reduces the risk of increased gas formation and the development of intestinal colic in infants and young children (reduction of minutes of daily crying in healthy infants), reducing the daily frequency of regurgitation, improving stool consistency and daily bowel movements.
Interaction with other tools and other types of interaction
There is currently no information on known interactions with dietary supplements or medications. On the other hand, SYMBIOSIS Bebicol consists of bacteria that may lose their activity against the background of antibiotic treatment.

B. breve BR03 and B. breve B632 bacteria are well tolerated. In addition, SYMBIOSIS Bebicol is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice for Food Additives.
Formula) SYMBIOSIS Bebicol is free of allergens (patented technology of Probiotical SpA); in particular, the product does not contain any allergens specified in current European legislation (UE 1169/2011): wheat, rye, barley, oats, kamut and their grafted hybrids and derivatives, crustaceans and products derived from them, eggs and egg products, fish and fish products, peanuts and products derived from them, soybeans and products derived from them, milk and dairy products (including lactose), nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds and derivatives, lupine, molluscs and derivatives, as well as sulfur dioxide in concentrations higher than 10 mg/kg or 10 ml/l, which is designated as SO2.
Method of application
SYMBIOSIS Bebicol is intended for children from birth; it is used 5 drops every morning during meals or as recommended by a doctor. Shake the bottle before use to ensure optimal distribution of the strains in the suspension. The presence of particles after shaking is completely normal. Measure the drops into a spoon adapted to your child's age, or into a cold or warm feeding bottle. Do not place the pipette directly into the child's mouth.
SYMBIOSIS Bebicol is recommended to be taken daily, for at least 30 days or as recommended by a doctor.
Do not add to hot food!
