Tapticom eye drops solution dropper tube 0.3 ml No. 30

Tapticom is a drug used in ophthalmology. It is an antiglaucoma drug and a myotonic agent.

Warehouse

Contraindication

Allergic reactions to the active substances or to any of the auxiliary components of the drug.

Respiratory tract irritation, as well as bronchial asthma or a history of bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Sinus bradycardia, sick sinus syndrome, as well as sinoatrial block, second or third degree atrioventricular block not controlled by a pacemaker, severe heart failure or cardiogenic shock.

Method of application

Doses

The recommended therapy is to instill 1 eye drop into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) once daily.

If a dose is missed, treatment should be continued with the next dose as scheduled. The dose should not exceed one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily.

Application features

Vascular disorders

Caution should be exercised in prescribing treatment to patients with severe disorders/impairments of peripheral circulation (in particular with severe forms of Raynaud's disease/vasoconstriction, angiotrophoneurosis or Raynaud's syndrome/paroxysmal disorders of arterial blood supply to the extremities).

Respiratory system disorders

Respiratory reactions, including death due to bronchospasm in patients with asthma, have been reported with some ophthalmic beta-blockers. Taptic® should be used with caution in patients with mild/moderate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and only if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk.

Pregnant women

Tapticom® should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary.

Children

Tapticom® is not used in children.

Drivers

No studies have been conducted on the effect of Tapticom® on the ability to drive and use machines. If adverse reactions such as transient blurred vision occur after instillation, the patient should wait until the vision clears before driving or operating machinery.

Overdose

Overdose with topical tafluprost is unlikely to occur or be associated with toxicity.

There have been reports of accidental overdose with timolol, resulting in symptoms of general intoxication similar to those observed with systemic beta-blockers, such as dizziness, headache, difficulty breathing (dyspnea), bradycardia, bronchospasm and cardiac arrest.

Side effects

Tafluprost

On the part of the organs of vision: Reduced visual acuity, increased pigmentation of the iris, pigmentation of the eyelids, conjunctival edema, discharge from the eyes, cellular reaction of the moisture of the anterior chamber, cellular opalescence in the anterior chamber of the eye, allergic conjunctivitis, conjunctival pigmentation, conjunctival follicles, deepening of the palpebral sulcus, iritis (inflammation of the iris of the eye) / uveitis (inflammation of the choroid of the eyeball), macular edema / cystic macular edema.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: eyelid hypertrichosis.

Respiratory system: exacerbation of bronchial asthma, dyspnea (shortness of breath/difficulty breathing).

Timolol

Immune system disorders: Signs and symptoms of allergic reactions including angioedema, urticaria, single and multiple rashes, anaphylactic reaction, pruritus.

Metabolism and nutrition disorders: hypoglycemia.

On the part of the psyche: depression, sleep disturbances (insomnia), nightmares, memory loss, nervousness, hallucinations.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature of 2 to 8ºС (in a refrigerator) in the original packaging.

After opening the foil bag, store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºС in a place protected from light.

Keep out of reach of children.
