Description

Pharmacological properties

Stimulates the processes of repair and regeneration in diseases of the retina of the eye of a dystrophic nature, traumatic eye injuries. Promotes the normalization of the function of cell membranes, activation of energy and metabolic processes in the tissues of the eye.

Indication

Cataracts (senile, diabetic, traumatic, radiation); degenerative diseases of the retina and cornea; corneal injuries (to stimulate regenerative processes).

Application

For cataracts - in the form of eye drops by instillation of 2-3 drops 2-4 times a day daily for 3 months. For the treatment of tapetoretinal degeneration and other degenerative diseases of the retina, as well as for penetrating wounds of the cornea, the drug is administered under the conjunctiva at 0.3 ml of a 4% solution 1 time a day for 10 days. The course of treatment is repeated after 6-8 months.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to taurine.
