Wellion Luna blood uric acid test strips are intended for use with the Wellion Luna Trio blood glucose, cholesterol and uric acid test device for self-testing of uric acid levels in capillary whole blood at home and in clinical settings by healthcare professionals (in-vitro diagnostic use)

Method of application

• Take the Wellion LUNA uric acid test strip from the test strip bottle. Insert the test strip into the meter to turn it on. The display shows “UA”, a blinking blood drop symbol and a test strip symbol.
• Press the lancing device (with a fresh lancet) on the side of your fingertip and press the release button to prick and obtain a drop of blood. Now hold the tip of the test strip at a slight angle into the blood sample. The test strip will suck up the blood like a straw. The meter will beep to let you know when there is enough blood for the test. A countdown will appear on the display and after 15 seconds the result will appear on the display.

Reservation

• Store at room temperature between 4C and 30C (39-86F).
• Avoid direct sunlight and heat.
• After removing the test strip, always close the vial cap tightly.
• Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial.
• Always store test strips in the original vial.
• Do not bend, cut, or fold the test strip.
• Handle, remove, touch and insert test strips with clean and dry hands.
