Angiotensin II receptor blocker. Tiara Trio is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adult patients whose blood pressure is adequately controlled on a combination of amlodipine, valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide, used as three separate medicinal products or as two medicinal products, one of which is a combination.
Composition
1 tablet of 10 mg/12.5 mg/160 mg contains:
active ingredients: amlodipine besylate equivalent to amlodipine 10 mg, hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg, valsartan 160 mg;
excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, Opadry II 85 F pink.
Contraindication
hypersensitivity to the active substances, other sulfonamides, dihydropyridine derivatives or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product; II and III trimesters of pregnancy; impaired liver function, biliary cirrhosis or cholestasis; severe renal impairment (GFR < 30 ml/min/1.73 m2), anuria, and dialysis; simultaneous use of Tiara Trio with aliskiren-containing drugs in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR < 60 mg/min/1.73 m2); refractory hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia, symptomatic hyperuricemia; severe hypotension; shock (including cardiogenic shock); obstruction of the left ventricular outflow tract (e.g. hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and severe aortic stenosis); hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.Method of application
The recommended dose of the drug Tiara Trio is 1 tablet of 10 mg/12.5 mg/160 mg per day, preferably in the morning.
The maximum recommended dose of the drug Tiara Trio is 10 mg/25 mg/320 mg.
Application features
Pregnant women
Use during pregnancy is recommended only if there is no safer alternative medicine and if the disease poses a greater risk to the mother and fetus.
The use of Tiara Trio during breastfeeding is not recommended.
Children
Safety and efficacy in children have not been established, therefore the drug is not used in patients of this age group.
Drivers
This drug does not affect the reaction speed when driving or using other mechanisms.
Overdose
There is no data on overdose of the drug Tiara Trio.
Side effects
Gastrointestinal: often - nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, upper abdominal pain; infrequently - change in bowel habit, diarrhea, dry mouth, dyspepsia; very rarely - gastritis, gingival hyperplasia, pancreatitis.
Hepatobiliary disorders: very rarely - hepatitis, intrahepatic cholestasis, jaundice, increased liver enzymes, including increased serum bilirubin (more likely associated with cholestasis).
Renal and urinary disorders: infrequently - urination disorders, nocturia, pollakiuria.
From the side of metabolism: very rarely - hyperglycemia.
From the nervous system: often - dizziness, headache, drowsiness; infrequently - dysgeusia, paresthesia, syncope, tremor, hypoesthesia; very rarely - hypertension, peripheral neuropathy, neuropathy; frequency unknown - extrapyramidal syndrome.
On the part of the psyche: infrequently - depression, insomnia/sleep disorders, mood changes; rarely - embarrassment.
Cardiac disorders: often - palpitations; very rarely - arrhythmia (including bradycardia, ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation), myocardial infarction.
Vascular disorders: often - flushing; infrequently - arterial hypotension; very rarely - vasculitis.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.
Shelf life is 2 years.
