Ticks are very resistant parasites that have learned to adapt and survive in different weather conditions. The blood of people or animals is the main source of food for ticks. Therefore, be careful when going for a walk or picnic, wear long-sleeved pants and sweatshirts, use protective sprays, and when you come home, carefully inspect yourself, your child, your dog and, of course, your clothes.

The redness and inflammatory reaction are caused by components contained in the tick's saliva. The tick attaches to the skin with special outgrowths that allow it to attach and suck blood. It usually attaches in the groin, abdomen, lower back, chest, armpits and ears. Signs of a tick bite appear after two to three hours. Weakness, drowsiness, chills, stiffness of the joints and fever may appear. Therefore, it is important not to panic, act correctly and consistently, pull out the tick, treat the bite site and do the necessary tests for the tick for diseases in order to respond promptly to the possible consequences of a tick bite. How to use

If you find a tick bite, inspect the bite site and select the appropriate tick hook;

insert the tick into the slot of the hook as close as possible to the proboscis; slightly lift the hook and turn it 2-3 turns to the left. After 1-3 turns, the entire tick, together with the proboscis, will be safely pulled out; treat the bite site with an antiseptic wipe and, if necessary, fix it with a bactericidal plaster.
