Composition
active ingredients: 100 ml of the drug contains: Camphora D2 2 ml, Tabacum D6 10 ml, Veratrum album D6 10 ml, Glonoinum D12 10 ml, Acidum hydrocyanicum D12 10 ml;
excipient: ethanol 43% (m/m);
1 ml of solution contains 25 drops.

The drug increases the tone of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system in patients with vagotonia and restores the disturbed balance of activity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Along with this, it has a vasoactive effect: improves blood supply and blood circulation in the brain by restoring the tone of cerebral vessels and normalizing venous outflow. Normalizes low blood pressure. Improves cardiac activity and metabolic processes in the myocardium. Reduces the excitability of the vestibular apparatus. Reduces the frequency and intensity of attacks, autonomic crises, especially vagoinsular. Increases resistance to psychoemotional and physical stress. Improves the adaptive capabilities of patients suffering from vestibular or autonomic disorders, arterial hypotension.

Indication
In the complex treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia of the hypotensive type, diencephalic syndrome, Meniere's syndrome. Complex treatment of conditions accompanied by vegetative disorders.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases associated with increased sensitivity of the respiratory tract, children under 2 years of age - due to the camphor content.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Clinically significant interactions of Tonginal® with other drugs have not been established. The drug can be combined with any drugs and treatment methods.
When using Tonginal® in complex therapy with other drugs, it is necessary to observe a pause between taking the drugs of at least 20 minutes.
Application features
At the beginning of treatment with the drug, the symptoms of the disease may slightly worsen (primary reaction). Such a reaction is not harmful and does not require discontinuation of the drug. If the symptoms do not disappear, the drug should be discontinued. After the disappearance of the primary reaction, the drug can be used again. If the symptoms worsen again, the drug should be discontinued. If the symptoms persist for more than 7 days despite treatment or if the condition worsens, it is recommended to consult a doctor immediately.
Since Tonginal® contains plant and other natural ingredients, a slight change in the taste, transparency, or color of the solution may occur during storage, which does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug.
Tonginal® oral drops should not be used in patients with alcohol dependence, since one dose of the drug (5/10 drops) contains 80/160 mg of alcohol.
The alcohol content should also be taken into account when using the drug by pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children and patients with a high risk of liver disease and the risk of epileptic seizures.
Long-term treatment with homeopathic medicines should be supervised by a homeopathic doctor, as symptoms may occur that are not listed in the instructions for medical use.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
There are no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There is currently no data on the risk to the fetus and child from the use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The drug can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the fetus/child.
There are no data on the effect of the drug on reproductive function.
The ability to influence the reaction speed when driving or working with other mechanisms
The drug in therapeutic doses does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.
It should be noted that the alcohol content in the preparation is 43% (m/m).
Method of administration and doses
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 drops of the drug in pure form or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;
children aged 6 to 12 years: 5–7 drops of the drug diluted in 1 tablespoon of water.
Take 3 times a day 30 minutes before or 1 hour after meals.
To enhance effectiveness, it is recommended to hold the drug in the mouth for some time before swallowing.
Treatment course: 2–3 months. If necessary, the course can be repeated.
Children
The use of Tonginal® oral drops in children under 6 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
Due to the camphor content, the drug is contraindicated for children under 2 years of age.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been registered.
Side effects
In exceptional cases, allergic reactions are possible in people with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. The drug may cause laryngospasm in infants and children under 2 years of age.
Expiration date
5 years.
Do not use the drug after the expiration date indicated on the package.
Storage conditions
Store in a tightly closed bottle in the original cardboard packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, out of the reach of children.
Packaging
