In 2003, A&D first introduced a simple “traffic light” indicator system for blood pressure monitors.

This simple indicator helps the user quickly determine whether their readings are low, normal, or high according to World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations.

UB-525 is clinically tested to meet the globally recognized guidelines of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH), so the user can be completely confident in their readings.

The A&D UB-525 also has a large memory for recording readings. This allows for up to 60 readings to be recorded, and includes an average function for stored data, as well as a WHO blood pressure classification indicator to allow users to better monitor their management programs.

It also boasts A&D’s unique Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) technology and AFib screening/circadian rhythm analysis technology, pioneered by A&D in 2001 and now available in most of our blood pressure monitor range. This revolutionary A&D technology is now used worldwide, helping to incidentally detect arrhythmias including AFib (or atrial fibrillation).

The Japanese design and reliable quality of the UB-525 allow A&D to offer the user a 10-year warranty (excluding batteries and cuff).
