Trisol solution for infusions bottle 200 ml

Trisol infusion solution is used to correct water and electrolyte balance disorders in acute intestinal infections and other conditions caused by iso- and hypotonic salt intoxication of various origins.
Composition
1 ml of solution contains (active ingredients):
sodium chloride - 5 mg; potassium chloride - 1 mg; sodium bicarbonate - 4 mg.The excipient is water for injection.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity, hyperkalemia, hypernatremia, severe renal and/or heart failure, hyperhydration, cerebral and pulmonary edema, metabolic alkalosis, impaired renal excretory function or the threat of their occurrence.
Method of application
The "Trisol" solution is administered intravenously by jet or drip. Before use, the solution is warmed to 36-38 °C. In severe forms of pathological processes, it is administered by jet, and then switched to intravenous drip (40-120 drops per minute for 24-48 hours). In case of emergency rehydration therapy in case of hypovolemic shock, the "Trisol" solution is administered by jet for 1-3 hours. The total amount of the solution administered should correspond to the volume of lost fluid. But usually, within an hour, it should be administered in an amount equal to 7-10% of body weight.
The drug should be used while monitoring laboratory indicators and hemodynamic parameters. The highest daily dose is 3 liters.
Children are given intravenously (drip) in the amount necessary to restore the lost fluid volume.
Application features
Pregnant women
There is no experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Children
Children should be given "Trisol", a solution for infusion, in case of emergency conditions according to vital indications under the supervision of a physician.
Drivers
There are no data on the effect of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles or other mechanisms, since the drug is used exclusively in a hospital setting.
Overdose
Hyperkalemia, hypernatremia, hyperhydration, alkalosis.
The introduction of large volumes of solution can lead to impaired renal function, hypervolemia, hyperkalemia (paresthesia, confusion, paralysis, sudden cardiac arrest), hypernatremia, alkalosis, hyperhydration, cerebral edema.
Treatment
Stop use and prescribe symptomatic treatment: administration of glucose solutions, solutions containing sodium bicarbonate, calcium. The drug is removed by hemodialysis. Hyperkalemia is eliminated by eliminating hypercatabolism, excluding the appointment of potassium-sparing diuretics, ACE inhibitors, heparin, beta-blockers, excluding the use of potassium with food and drugs. Hyperhydration is eliminated by prescribing diuretics: high doses of furosemide (up to 100 mg per day parenterally) with constant monitoring of electrolytes.
Side effects
With individual intolerance to any component of the drug, hypersensitivity reactions and dyspeptic disorders are possible.
Hyperkalemia, hypernatremia, alkalosis, hypervolemia, hyperhydration.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children. Do not freeze.
Shelf life - 2 years.
