Troxegel gel 2% tube 40 g

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics. Troxerutin has angioprotective and phlebotonizing effect. Troxerutin accumulates selectively in the endothelial layer of veins, penetrates deeply into the subendothelial layer of the venous wall, and the concentration will be higher than in other tissues. The drug prevents damage to cell membranes caused by oxidation. The antioxidant effect is manifested in the reduction and elimination of the oxidative properties of oxygen, inhibition of lipid peroxidation, protection of the vascular endothelium from the oxidative action of hydroxyl radicals. Troxerutin reduces the increased permeability of capillaries and increases venous tone.
The cytoprotective effect is manifested in the inhibition of neutrophil activation and adhesion, reduction of erythrocyte aggregation and increased resistance of erythrocytes to deformation, and reduction of the release of inflammatory mediators.
The drug increases venous-arterial reflux, prolongs venous filling time, reduces blood flow to the skin (in the supine position), and improves microcirculation and microvascular perfusion.
The action of the drug is aimed at reducing the intensity of pain, improving trophism and eliminating various pathological disorders associated with venous insufficiency.
Pharmacokinetics. Due to the dosage form of the drug Troxegel, it ensures complete absorption of the active substance through the stratum corneum of the epidermis and penetration into the blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue.
Indication
For symptomatic treatment of: venous insufficiency, pre-varicose and varicose syndrome, superficial thrombophlebitis, phlebitis and post-phlebitic conditions; for complex treatment of hemorrhoidal disease; edema and pain in injuries and varicose veins; muscle cramps (convulsive twitching of the calf muscles).
Application
