The Coloplast Alterna (1758) gastrostomy bag is made of multilayer polyethylene with a soft, absorbent base. The product is attached to a plate with a suitable flange diameter (50 mm).

Features

The highly efficient design of the bag prevents backflow of contents into the urostomy. This reduces the risk of infection in the urethra. The spiral structure of the adhesive layer has strong adhesive and protective properties. One layer of adhesive is absorbent, it maintains the normal condition of the skin, the other layer ensures reliable fixation of the plate on the skin for several days. The bag is equipped with a drainage valve made of soft plastic. The valve is hygienic to use, easy to open and hermetically close. The product is made of noiseless, odorless material. The back surface is covered with soft material for additional protection of the skin from irritation.
