Composition

Cross-linked polymer of sodium salt of hyaluronic acid 0.15%, Carboxymethyl β-glucan 0.3%, buffered isotonic solution pH 7.2.

Properties

Umastar, eye drops, is a preservative-free tear substitute. Contains cross-linked sodium salt of hyaluronic acid with carboxymethyl β-glucan. Umastar, eye drops, are used to protect, hydrate and lubricate the surface of the eye. Cross-linked sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, due to its network-like structure, provides better hydration and viscosity, elasticity and high stability of the tear film, which remains on the surface of the eye for a long time. Carboxymethyl β-glucan additionally enhances the moisturizing properties of this medical product, allows you to counteract oxidative stress caused by free radicals and supports the reorganization of corneal cells. OSD technology (ophthalmic push-type dispenser) provides an innovative delivery of completely sterile eye drops without preservatives

Indications for use

Umastar eye drops help eliminate symptoms of dryness, foreign body sensation, etc. in:

• Dry eye syndrome.
• Mechanical stress: use of contact lenses, surgical procedures, etc.
• Systemic diseases: Sjögren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, liver disease, etc.
• Hormonal disorders: menopause, hormone therapy, etc.
• Environmental stress: air conditioning, cigarette smoke, wind, etc.
• Eye fatigue: overload of the organ of vision when watching videos.
• Use of certain medications: antidepressants, beta-blockers, prostaglandins, etc.

The medical device is compatible with contact lenses.

Method of application

1. It is not necessary to remove contact lenses before using Umastar eye drops.
2. Wash hands before applying the product.
3. Instill 1-2 drops in each eye 2-3 times a day or as recommended by your doctor.
4. Make sure the dropper does not come into contact with the eye.

Reservation

Do not use Umastar eye drops if you have an allergy or known hypersensitivity to any component of the medical product (listed in the "Ingredients" section).

• If an adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
• For eye instillation, do not swallow.
• Before using the medical device, make sure that the container is not damaged.
• Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date is for the unopened product when properly stored.

Storage conditions

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use for more than 90 days after opening the container. Close the container tightly after use. Store at room temperature not exceeding +30 °C, away from heat sources.
