ONIKO RP-U is a universal medical X-ray film. It is designed to obtain X-ray images using both blue and green light-intensifying screens, with the same exposure for both cases.

Characteristics

The film "ONIKO RP-U" is made of materials provided by AGFA, which ensures high quality of the film and images. The high resolution of this X-ray film allows you to clearly identify the pathology of the disease and eliminate repeated examinations, this is facilitated by high selectivity and the maximum number of shades of gray scale (256 tones). High photographic latitude determines stable reproducibility of images and their resistance to changes in processing modes.

Processing

Standard process 90 seconds at a temperature of 32-35 °C.

Average chemical consumption (perm2):

developer (G139, G153) – 0.4 l; fixer (G334, G354) – 0.6 l.

Operating and storage conditions

Recommendations for photo lab lighting:

It is recommended to use a special red light filter. It should be used together with a 15 W frosted lamp and placed at a distance of at least 1.2 m from the loading and unloading device of the developing machine, and in case of manual processing from the upper surface of the work table or photochemical processing unit.

Handling the film:

The film should be handled with great care. Do not fold, bend or apply pressure to the film.

Store unexposed film in a vertical position at 10-23°C in a dry room with a humidity of 30-50%. Protect the film from sources of ionizing radiation.
