Composition of 1 sachet weighing 3100 mg (mg): D-mannose – 2000.00 mg (mg), cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon) (berries) [with proanthocyanidins (PAC)] – 500.00 mg (mg), L-methionine – 300.00 mg (mg), L-glycine – 150.00 mg (mg), vitamin C – 150.00 mg (mg),
excipients (dextrose, raspberry flavoring, sucralose sweetener, silicon dioxide anti-caking agent).
GMO-free.
Properties
The effect of the dietary supplement "Urodinon" is due to the properties of its constituent components.
Cranberry fruit extract has a comprehensive effect on improving the functional characteristics of the urinary tract, because:
- demonstrates high anti-inflammatory activity due to its high concentration of proanthocyanidins.
- promotes the removal of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (which can provoke infectious diseases of the bladder and kidneys) from the urogenital tract.
- enhances the effect of antibiotics and antiseptic drugs in inflammatory conditions of the urogenital tract.
- Inhibits the vital activity of dermatophytes and other fungi as a manifestation of fungistatic properties in in vitro studies.
- has a mild diuretic effect.
- Limited scientific studies have demonstrated a reduction in the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections in healthy women who have had a UTI.
D-mannose causes the following effects:
- helps improve the functional state of the bladder by reducing the adhesion of bacteria to the mucous membrane of the bladder. The adhesive ability of bacteria to urogenital cells is a key effect in the colonization of the bladder. Therefore, D-mannose, as a monosaccharide, as a nutrient medium for E. Coli, E. coli (which often causes inflammatory processes), binds the bacterial flora and promotes its excretion with the urine stream, which leads to bladder cleansing.
- promotes anti-inflammatory processes and normalizes the functional state of the urinary tract.
- Despite the listed properties, D-mannose does not have any systemic side effects on the human body as a whole.
L-methionine – an essential amino acid that helps antioxidant processes in the body through the synthesis of glutathione (a powerful reducing agent). It neutralizes some toxic substances through methylation. It is a component of the natural processes of removing toxins from the body.
L-glycine is an essential amino acid with many functions and effects. It can bind to specific receptors and transporters expressed in many cell types throughout the body to exert its effects. It is a powerful antioxidant (prevents oxidative damage to body cells by free radicals). It inhibits the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, interleukin-6 (IL-6) and IL-1β, and increases the production of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in macrophages, leukocytes.
Vitamin C has antioxidant and general strengthening properties due to its functions of detoxification, synthesis of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine and serotonin), and modulation of immunity.
In the presence of a multifactorial pathological/threatening effect on the human body of pathogenic bacteria, dermatophytes and other fungi, changes in habitual living conditions, other causes that led to a violation of the functional characteristics of the urinary tract, the complex action of D-mannose with cranberry fruit extract in combination with essential amino acids (L-methionine + L-glycine) is able to prevent the progression and recurrence of the disease with the possibility of a protective effect on the body's cells together with the immunomodulatory effect of vitamin C.
Recommendations for use
Recommended as an additional source of essential amino acids (L-methionine and L-glycine), vitamin C, D-mannose, cranberry fruit extract, which contribute to:
- improving the functional characteristics of the urinary tract;
- enhancing the effectiveness of antibacterial therapy of the urogenital tract;
- mild diuretic effect;
- modulation of the body's immune response and increase in antioxidant protective functions.
The dietary supplement "Urodinon" can be useful for different categories of patients:
1. Patients with urinary tract dysfunction.
2. Patients with infectious diseases of the urogenital tract.
3. Patients who require protection from stressful influences, fluctuations in hygienic and seasonal living conditions.
Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
Method of administration and doses
Adults 1 sachet once a day. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water and take orally during or after meals. The recommended course of use is 1 month. The duration of the course of treatment may be changed on the recommendation of a doctor. If necessary, repeat the course of treatment 2 or more times a year after consulting a doctor. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking "Urodinon". Do not exceed the recommended amount for daily consumption.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the dietary supplement. During pregnancy and lactation, prescribed exclusively by a doctor, age up to 16 years.
Storage conditions
Store in the manufacturer's original packaging in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 5°C to 25°C. Shelf life - 24 months from the date of manufacture. Do not use after the expiration date.
