Characteristics

Microdrops of K3 EDTA solution (trisubstituted potassium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) at a concentration of 1.2-2.0 mg of dry reagent per ml. Potassium salts of EDTA prevent blood clotting by binding calcium ions. The product has a stopper with a rubber membrane. Vacuum pressure is created inside the tube, which allows blood from a vein to flow into the tube. The product is intended for single use. The tube can be used in automatic hematology analyzers without opening the lid.
