Composition

active ingredient: Calendula officinalis;

1 suppository contains Calendula officinalis Ø 150 mg;

excipients: macrogol 400, macrogol 1500, macrogol 4000.

Dosage form

Vaginal suppositories.

Main physicochemical properties: suppositories of cylindrical-conical shape, white in color with a yellowish tinge. On the cut, the presence of an air and porous core and a funnel-shaped depression is allowed.

Pharmacological properties

Calendula officinalis (marigold) contains flavonoids, saponins, carotenoids, triterpene alcohols. Their pharmacological action is mutually complementary and provides an anti-inflammatory effect, accelerates the process of granulation and epithelialization, has a fungistatic and cytotoxic effect, and also has a protective, antibiotic and immunostimulating effect.

Indication

Inflammatory diseases of the vagina, which are accompanied by discharge, itching, burning, redness.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Hypersensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae family, such as chamomile, echinacea, arnica (cross-reaction is possible).
