Valerian rhizome with roots is indicated for nervous excitement, insomnia, vegetoneurosis and neurosis of the cardiovascular system; spasms of the digestive tract (as part of complex therapy).

Composition

Active ingredient: valerian rhizomes with roots (Valerianae rhizomata cum radicibus);

1 filter pack contains valerian rhizomes with roots (Valerianae rhizomata cum radicibus) - 1.5 g

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug. Depression.

Method of application

Place 2 filter bags in a glass or enameled container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and let stand for 15 minutes. Apply warm 3-4 times a day 30 minutes after meals: adults and children over 14 years old - ⅓ cup; children 6-10 years old - 1-2 dessert spoons, 10-14 years old - 2 tablespoons.

Overdose

Overdose and prolonged use (more than 2 months) may cause feelings of depression, increased fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nausea, bradycardia, increased blood clotting. Symptomatic therapy (gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, sodium sulfate).

Side effects

In case of hypersensitivity to the drug, sleep disturbances and the manifestation of the opposite stimulating effect are possible, as well as the development of allergic reactions (including rash, itching, hyperemia, swelling of the skin). Intestinal spasms, nausea, intestinal dysfunction; headache, bradycardia, arrhythmia, weakness, drowsiness, depression, decreased performance are possible.

Interaction

Enhances the effect of alcohol, sedatives, hypnotics, hypotensive, anxiolytic and antispasmodic drugs.

Storage conditions
