"VICRYL™" (polyglactin 910) is a synthetic absorbable suture material widely used for soft tissue approximation and ligatures, including ophthalmic surgery.

Features

Polyfilament sutures have good handling properties and reliably fix knots. The process of resorption is carried out by hydrolysis. Due to the hydrolysis reaction, the tensile strength of the sutures decreases during implantation into the wound. Resorption of this thread usually occurs between 56 and 70 days. A cutting needle is included in the kit.
