"Vijaysar® Forte" is a concentrated extract of the Vijaysar tree (Pterocarpus marsupium) in capsules.

The drug is recommended for type 2 diabetes mellitus to normalize blood and urine glucose levels, prevent the development of complications of diabetes mellitus and normalize blood cholesterol levels. It can also be recommended for dietary nutrition in the initial stages of atherosclerosis to eliminate sclerotic changes in the body and prevent cardiovascular diseases.

Characteristics

The biological properties of the product are due to the presence of epicatechin, pterostilbin, marsupsin, pterosupin and licyritigenin in the Vijayasar tree extract. Epicatechin prevents a decrease in the osmotic resistance of erythrocytes as a result of metabolic disorders at high blood sugar levels, stimulates oxygen absorption by fat cells and internal tissues, stimulates insulin synthesis and the process of converting proinsulin into insulin, protects β-cells. influences and promotes their regeneration in case of damage. Marsupsin and pterostilbin contribute to a decrease in blood sugar levels by inhibiting gluconeogenesis (the process of forming glucose molecules in the liver), stimulating glycolysis (the breakdown of glucose) and delaying the process of glucose absorption in the intestine.
