Properties

To restore health potential over time, a person needs vitamins and trace elements, for the eyes to improve vision, and in general to improve the functioning of the body.

VisiloTON® complex combines three categories of nutrients: carotenoids (zeaxanthin and lutein), omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins E, C and trace elements (zinc and copper), the benefits of which for the human body are substantiated in scientific literature. Below is a more detailed description of the properties of the classes of substances and the substances themselves that are part of VisiloTON® complex.

Antioxidants. Antioxidants protect cells from damage by free radicals, which accelerate aging and cell destruction. They can help to release free radicals and thus provide protection against aging of the retina and macula. Free radicals are molecules that are formed during cell metabolism. An excess of free radicals can have a toxic effect and cause damage to the structure of lipids, proteins and DNA, which leads to a deterioration in cell functions. Under normal physiological conditions, the formation of free radicals is suppressed by the defense system, in which antioxidants play an important role. With increasing age or in people with an unbalanced diet, a deficiency of antioxidants may occur. In this case, you can supplement your diet with the dietary supplement VisiloTON® complex.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant – the so-called “vitamin of youth and reproduction” protects cell membranes from oxidative damage, participates in the neutralization of free radicals. Vitamin E is an antihypoxant: it is able to stabilize the mitochondrial membrane and save oxygen consumption by cells. Vitamin E helps strengthen the body's defenses (causes an immunomodulatory effect).

Vitamin C is necessary for the regeneration of oxidized vitamin E (tocopherol radical). Vitamin C is one of the essential substances in the human diet, which is necessary for the normal functioning of bone and connective tissue. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant.

Zinc is a natural activator of more than 200 enzymes. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of healthy vision. It acts as an antioxidant through complex mechanisms. Zinc is a component of many enzymes in the human body and is necessary for the metabolism of vitamin E. Zinc is also necessary for the absorption of vitamin E by the body.

Copper plays an important role in the removal of free radicals. Copper is also necessary when taking dietary supplements that contain zinc. Copper is found in meat offal, shellfish, dried fruits.

The carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin are powerful antioxidants. Carotenoids are yellow-hot pigments found in fruits and vegetables, especially dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach. Lutein and zeaxanthin are key elements in the eye's defense system against oxidative damage. High levels of lutein and zeaxanthin are found in the macula, the part of the eye responsible for central vision and visual acuity. Together, lutein and zeaxanthin form the macular pigment. Carotenoids perform two important functions in the eye: 1) a blue light filter — like internal sunglasses — protects the eyes from the negative effects of the blue part of the light spectrum; 2) they are powerful antioxidants. Any bright light, especially computer or TV radiation, has a destructive effect on the central area of the retina. If this part of the retina is not protected by lutein, over time, such a load causes various pathologies in the functioning of the organ of vision. Zeaxanthin - in the body accumulates in the blood serum and in the retina of the eye and has a great influence on the proper functioning of the organ of vision. The macula consists of nerve cells responsible for image formation in the eye, so zeaxanthin affects visual acuity, absorbing harmful ultraviolet radiation, protecting the eyes from photochemical damage. Zeaxanthin complements and enhances the effect of lutein. Interacting with lutein as an antioxidant and neutralizing free radicals in the retina, zeaxanthin thereby prevents damage to the lens of the eye.

Lutein:

protects the retina of the eye from aggressive ultraviolet radiation;

has an antioxidant effect and reduces damage to eye tissues by free radicals;

improves visual acuity and prevents the occurrence of so-called "night blindness";

helps eye tissues tolerate oxygen deficiency;

Zeaxanthin:

improves the ability to see in the dark;

envelops the thin capillaries of the retina;

protects the macula of the eye from degradation.

Omega-3 essential fatty acids: docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). DHA and EPA are polyunsaturated fatty acids that belong to the omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 acids are essential fatty acids that must be obtained from food or dietary supplements in the case of an unbalanced diet. Omega-3 acids accelerate metabolism and make the organs of our body work harmoniously.

DHA is found in very high concentrations in the membranes of retinal cells, and therefore is essential for normal eye development and function.

The gray matter of the brain contains more than 90% of DHA of all polyunsaturated fatty acids. Depletion of DHA in the brain can lead to memory deficits, decreased cognitive function, and learning ability.

DHA is also found in high concentrations in sperm, making them more functionally active.

Consuming 400-500 mg/day of EPA+DHA leads to a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease.

The active ingredients of VisiloTON® complex help to overcome the deficiency of micronutrients, which may be associated with age-related changes or caused by an unbalanced diet (insufficient content of fruits, vegetables and fish in the diet). An unbalanced diet is one of the factors in the development of age-related eye diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration.

VisiloTON® complex can be used as an additional source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, as well as macular pigments (zeaxanthin and lutein). Method of application

Adults are recommended to take 1 capsule per day with food.

Recommended duration of use: up to 12 weeks. Further duration of use is agreed with the doctor.

Side effect
