General properties
Dexpanthenol is provitamin B5, a derivative form and an alcohol analogue of pantothenic acid. Dexpanthenol, which is part of the ophthalmic agent "Visiloton", causes the regenerating, metabolic and weak anti-inflammatory effect of the drops. Pantothenic acid acts as a vitamin after its attachment to coenzyme A, which is a cofactor of various reactions catalyzed by enzymes and accompanied by the transfer of acetyl groups. In ophthalmology, dexpanthenol is widely used in eye drops or eye ointments. When applied topically, dexpanthenol exhibits anti-inflammatory and antipruritic properties. Dexpanthenol stimulates the regeneration of the mucous membrane of the eye, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers.
Taurine is a sulfonic acid synthesized in the human body from the amino acid cysteine, plays a significant role in the process of tissue regeneration. Taurine helps improve energy processes, stimulates reparative processes in degenerative diseases, normalizes processes, the violation of which is accompanied by a significant change in the metabolism of eye tissues.
Hypromellose has high viscosity, is a protector of the corneal epithelium, improves the stability of the tear film, eliminates all the main symptoms of dryness and eye fatigue, increases the duration of contact of dexpanthenol and taurine with the cornea. Hypromellose contributes to the restoration, stability and reproduction of the optical characteristics of the tear film.
It affects reparative and regenerative processes, which stimulates the restoration of damaged tissues.
It exhibits anti-inflammatory and antipruritic properties.
Stimulates the regeneration of the mucous membrane of the eye, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers.
It helps improve energy processes, stimulates reparative processes in degenerative diseases, and normalizes processes whose disruption is accompanied by a significant change in the metabolism of eye tissues.
Promotes the restoration, stability and reproduction of the optical characteristics of the tear film.
Moisturizes and preserves the physiological properties of the mucous membrane of the eye in case of insufficient tear fluid thanks to a formula that provides a quick onset of action and a long-lasting effect.
Eliminates symptoms of "dryness and fatigue" of the eyes due to prolonged computer work, driving, working with small text, allergies, hot, dry climates, and taking certain medications and vitamins.
Removes allergens from the mucous membrane of the eye. Promotes faster evacuation of secretions in inflammatory eye diseases and improves the use of local medications.
Recommendations for use
To stimulate reparative and regenerative processes of the mucous membrane of the eye and cornea;
as a supportive agent in the treatment of infections of the anterior segment of the eye of bacterial, viral and fungal origin;
to prevent the progression of lens opacification in cataracts;
as part of the complex treatment of dystrophic eye diseases;
as part of the complex treatment of adenoviral conjunctivitis;
to reduce the manifestations of dry eye syndrome;
for preventive purposes as a means for daily moisturizing the mucous membrane of the eye to preserve its protective physiological properties;
for preventive purposes when using contact lenses;
for preventive purposes when constantly using a computer, reading, or driving;
to reduce itching and discomfort in the eyes (when irritated by wind, when smoking);
for preventive purposes to moisturize the mucous membrane of the eye when working in harmful conditions, in poor lighting, as well as when the production of tear fluid decreases with age;
to alleviate the patient's condition with allergic conjunctivitis;
to alleviate the patient's condition after ophthalmic surgical interventions;
as part of the complex treatment of all types of keratitis.
Method of application
It is recommended to instill the ophthalmic agent "Visiloton" into the conjunctival sac of each eye 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day or as needed.
When instilling, before the liquid is distributed on the surface of the eye, a short-term feeling of blurred vision may occur, which disappears after blinking.
Due to its chemical composition and concentration, the duration and frequency of use of the ophthalmic product "Viziloton" are not limited, the product is safe for long-term use, and is not addictive.
EYE DROP APPLICATION TECHNIQUE:
Wash your hands.
Stand in front of a mirror and gently pull down your lower eyelid with your index finger to create a space for the eye drops.
Tilt your head back and look up.
Hold the bottle between your thumb and forefinger, holding your hand in front of your face, and squeeze the bottle slightly to instill the recommended number of drops into your eye. Do not touch the dropper tip to your hands, eyes, or any surface as this may contaminate the solution.
To evenly distribute the drops over the surface of the eye, it is recommended to blink 3-4 times after instillation.
Close the bottle tightly with the cap after instillation.
Application features
There is no risk associated with the use of Visiloton Ophthalmic Solution during pregnancy or breastfeeding, because the components of Visiloton Ophthalmic Solution do not form insoluble precipitates with metal salts and organic residues contained in tear fluid and have an optimal pH for eye tissues. The components of Visiloton Ophthalmic Solution are not pharmacologically active. It is believed that these components are not absorbed systemically, therefore, any systemic toxicity or any effect on reproductive function or embryo-fetal development is not expected.
There is no objective experience of using the product in children.
When instilling the ophthalmic agent "Visiloton", before the liquid is distributed on the surface of the eye, a short-term feeling of blurred vision, a burning sensation may occur. This is normal, the sensations disappear after blinking. Until vision returns to normal, you should not drive a vehicle or use other mechanisms.
The ophthalmic agent "Viziloton" is in sterile, sealed protective packaging. Do not use if the packaging is damaged. The agent is non-toxic and sterile. It cannot be re-sterilized.
Visiloton ophthalmic solution contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause irritation. Avoid contact with soft contact lenses (remove contact lenses before using the product and reinsert them 15 minutes after use). Discolors soft contact lenses.
Interaction with other tools and other types of interaction
Do not use the product simultaneously with other ophthalmic products or medications.
When performing additional local therapy, the interval between the use of the ophthalmic agent "Visiloton" and other drugs should be at least 5 minutes (the ophthalmic agent "Visiloton" should be applied last).
Reservation
The ophthalmic product "Visiloton" is intended for individual use.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If you experience severe redness, inflammation, or pain in your eyes, consult an ophthalmologist.

Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children. Do not freeze.
Expiration date
2 years. Do not use after the expiry date. Shelf life after opening the bottle is 28 days.

10 ml in a polyethylene bottle, sealed with a polyethylene dropper and a polyethylene screw cap with tamper-evident closure.
