Visoptik eye drops solution 0.5 mg/ml dropper bottle 5 ml No. 2
Visoptic eye drops are indicated for the symptomatic temporary relief of secondary ocular hyperemia due to moderate irritant and allergic conjunctivitis.
Composition
Active ingredient: tetryzoline hydrochloride;
1 ml of the drug contains 0.5 mg of tetrizoline hydrochloride;
Excipients: sodium chloride, sodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, sodium tetraborate, boric acid, water for injections.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, glaucoma.
Method of application
For topical use in ophthalmology only.
The solution can be used for more than 72 hours only under the supervision of a doctor.
Adults and children ≥ 6 years of age: Instill 1-2 drops of solution into the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily.
Children from 2 to 6 years of age. The solution should be used in children aged 2 to 6 years under the supervision of a physician.

The drug should be used only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child.
Children
The drug is not used in children under 2 years of age.
Children aged 2 to 6 years should use the drug with caution, under the supervision of a physician.
Drivers
The effect is unlikely, but immediately after using the drug, you should wait until your vision is clear before driving or using other machinery.
Overdose
When using the drug according to the recommendations, overdose is unlikely.
In case of an overdose of the drug, increased hyperemia or reactive hyperemia may occur.
Symptoms that may occur with ingestion or excessive use of the drug: bradycardia, drowsiness, decreased blood pressure, apathy and decreased body temperature. Additional symptoms that may occur only with ingestion of the drug may be apnea, central nervous system depression and coma.
Treatment: If the drug is swallowed, treatment consists of taking activated charcoal and emptying the stomach. Further treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.
Side effects
On the part of the organs of vision: burning sensation in the eyes, irritation of the mucous membrane of the eyes, eye pain, redness of the eyes, stinging in the eyes, dilation of the pupils (mydriasis), reactive hyperemia of the eye (ricochet hyperemia of the eye).
Systemic sympathomimetic effects may occasionally occur.
Interaction
Concomitant use of tetrizoline with MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants, guanethidine or reserpine (for systemic use) may lead to an increase in blood pressure.
With simultaneous use of anesthetics, insulin, atropine sulfate or propranolone with Tetrizoline, the effect of these drugs on the circulatory system may increase.
In case of simultaneous use with other eye drops, a 15-minute break should be observed between instillation of eye drops.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store the opened bottle at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Shelf life - 2 years.
The shelf life after opening is 28 days.
