Properties
A complex of vitamins and minerals that meet the needs of people over 50 years old.
Supports normal physical and mental performance. Helps protect the body from premature aging.
The antioxidant complex, consisting of vitamins A, C, E, beta-carotene, zinc, selenium, copper and manganese, protects the body from the destructive effects of free radicals.
Vitamin A ensures normal function of the organ of vision, structural integrity of tissues, and proper immunity.
Beta-carotene is a source for the synthesis of vitamin A and protects cell membranes from lipid oxidation products.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant with a powerful regenerative effect. It increases the body's nonspecific resistance.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that prevents lipid peroxidation. It is necessary for the biosynthesis of heme and proteins, tissue respiration processes, and affects the tone and permeability of blood vessels.
Selenium functions through selenoproteins, the main one of which is glutathione peroxidase. Selenium interacts with vitamin E in protective processes.
B vitamins are components of complex enzymatic systems that ensure normal metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. The biochemical and physiological processes in which these vitamins participate are closely interconnected. Combined manifestations of deficiency of several vitamins of this group are often found, so they must be taken in combination.
Vitamin B1 is a coenzyme of enzymes involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and branched-chain amino acids. It ensures the normal functioning of the nervous system, cardiac activity, and endocrine glands.
Vitamin B2 is a component of flavin enzymes that participate in hydrogen transport (tissue respiration) and ATP formation in mitochondria, as well as numerous redox processes.
Vitamin B6 as a coenzyme participates in the metabolism of amino acids, glycogen, sphingoid bases, and the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
Pantothenic acid is a component of coenzyme A and phosphopantothein, and plays a significant role in the processes of endothelial regeneration and fatty acid metabolism.
Vitamin B3 (nicotinamide) functions as a cosubstrate or coenzyme of dehydrogenases for hydrogen ion transfer.
Vitamin B12 is necessary for nucleotide synthesis and fatty acid metabolism, methylation processes. In combination with folic acid, it ensures normal hematological and neurological status.
Folic acid is a coenzyme of one-carbon carriers in the metabolism of nucleic acids and amino acids. It stimulates erythropoiesis, participates in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleic acids, purines and pyrimidines, as well as in choline metabolism.
Biotin is a component of enzymes that regulate protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism. It participates in the synthesis of purine nucleotides. It is a source of sulfur, which participates in the synthesis of collagen.
Adequate intake of vitamin K1 is necessary for the prevention of osteoporosis and has a regulatory effect on blood clotting processes.
Vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, and boron help prevent the development of osteoporosis and its complications (primarily bone fractures).
Iron is a component of numerous enzymes responsible for oxygen transport to tissues: hemoproteins (hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochromes), iron-sulfur enzymes (flavoproteins, hemoflavoproteins), proteins for iron storage and transport (transferrin, lactoferrin, ferritin, hemosiderin), etc. Sufficient iron intake ensures oxygen delivery to tissues and the functioning of the respiratory chain, and increases nonspecific resistance.
Vanadium can inhibit the synthesis of fatty acids and inhibit the formation of cholesterol.
Molybdenum is needed to maintain the normal condition of dental tissue and prevent caries; regulate metabolic and growth processes; stimulate enzymes that ensure the synthesis of ascorbic acid and normal tissue respiration.
Chromium is involved in glucose metabolism, enhancing the effect of insulin.
