Composition
Active ingredients: 1 capsule contains powdered extracts of: Saw Palmetto fruit (Serenoa repens) 160 mg (mg), pumpkin seed (Cucurbita moschata) 60 mg (mg), African potato tuber (Hypoxis hemerocallidea) 50 mg (mg), stinging nettle root (Urtica dioica) 50 mg (mg), African plum bark (Prunus africana) 40 mg (mg), rye pollen (Secale secae) 25 mg (mg); capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide dye.
Pharmacological properties
In the etiology of pathological processes leading to urinary disorders in men, pain and sexual dysfunction, an important role is played by the increased formation of the androgen dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes the growth of prostate tissue by binding to cytoplasmic androgen receptors. DHT is formed from testosterone by activating the enzyme 5-α-reductase and activating α-adrenoreceptors, which increase the concentration of calcium ions inside the cell and lead to smooth muscle contraction.
The functional properties of the dietary supplement "Voger" are due to the physiological activity of biologically active substances that are part of its composition: fatty acids (lauric, myristic, oleic, palmitic, stearic, linoleic) and phytosterols (P-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol), curbitin and fatty oil, zinc, hypoxoside, aglycone and rooperol, vitamins (K, C, B2, B3, carotenoids), chlorophyll, tannins, organic acids, flavonoids, macro- and microelements (Si, Fe, Ca, Cu, K, Mn, B, Ti, Ni), pentacyclic triterpenes, p-docosanol and tetracosanol.
Biologically active substances that make up Voger have anti-inflammatory, antiandrogenic and antiestrogenic properties. They are able to reduce the level of sex hormone-binding globulin. The most important components of phytotherapy are phytosterols, (-)-sitosterol, fatty acids and lecithins. These substances inhibit aromatase, lipoxygenase and growth factor, which stimulate the proliferation of prostate cells. Among them, they inhibit a-adrenoreceptors, 5-a-reductase, muscarinic cholinergic receptors, dihydropyridine receptors or vanilloid receptors and neutralize free radicals.
Biologically active substances that make up Voger reduce pathological processes in the prostate gland, which are accompanied by frequent urges to urinate, especially at night, weak or intermittent urination, a feeling of incompletely emptied bladder, discomfort, including during urination, discomfort in the lower abdomen or in the perineum, and impaired sexual function.
"Voger" contains all the components listed in the "Phytotherapy" section of the 2019 European Association of Urologists' Recommendations for the Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia:
Saw Palmetto fruit extract (Serenoa repens)
contains 45% fatty acids (lauric, myristic, oleic, palmitic, stearic, linoleic) and phytosterols (P-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol).
Saw Palmetto improves urinary symptom scores, symptoms, and urinary flow rates on the IPSS scale. It helps block 5-α-reductase and inhibit the binding of dihydrotestosterone to prostate receptors. The antiproliferative effect is due to the inhibition of the activity of the enzymes 5-α-reductase and aromatase.
Saw Palmetto extract is one of the leaders among herbal remedies that suppress the development of edema, inflammation in the prostate and reduce the size of the prostate gland. Numerous clinical studies of Saw Palmetto extract in Germany, England, the USA and other countries have shown its high effectiveness in chronic prostatitis. The absence of undesirable effects allows you to use Saw Palmetto extract for a long time, without fear of harmful effects on the body. In addition, Saw Palmetto extract has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin and hair, blocking 5-a-reductase type 2, which is a key link in the development of androgenic alopecia (hair loss) and acne.
Saw Palmetto fruit extract reduces the size of the prostate gland and improves symptoms. It helps stop the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, which is the leading cause of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Pumpkin seed extract (Cucurbita moschata)
contains the amino compound cucurbitin and fatty oils that have anti-inflammatory, restorative, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, regenerative and antiparasitic properties.
The use of pumpkin products is accompanied by a decrease in prostate volume, through anti-inflammatory and antiandrogenic effects, a decrease in detrusor activity, an improvement in the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), uroflowmetry parameters and quality of life (QoL). Pumpkin seeds are also a powerful source of zinc, which plays an important role in the functioning of the genitourinary system in men, helps to enhance sexual function and normalize the functional state of the prostate gland in prostatitis and adenoma.
African potato tuber extract (Hypoxis hemerocallidea) helps enhance the effect
The extract obtained from the tuber of the African potato has the main bioactive compound hypoxoside, aglycone and rooperol and provides the most convincing evidence of efficacy and safety in normalizing the functional state in BPH.
Stinging nettle root extract (Urtica dloica) contains a complex of biologically active compounds, including vitamins (K, C, B2, B3, carotenoids), chlorophyll, tannins, organic acids, flavonoids, macro- and microelements (Si, Fe, Ca, Cu, K, Mn, B, Ti, Ni).
It helps to increase hemoglobin levels, reduce blood glucose levels, normalize lipid metabolism and increase the overall tone of the body. Stinging nettle root extract helps reduce swelling and prevents the process of prostate enlargement.
African plum bark extract (Prunus africana) contains a number of biologically active substances (phytosterols, pentacyclic triterpenes, n-docosanol and tetracosanol) that have anti-inflammatory and anti-edema properties, due to the inhibition of prostaglandin production and the reduction of prolactin levels in the prostate gland.
Based on preclinical studies, several mechanisms of action have been proposed, including inhibition of 5-α-reductase, α-adrenergic antagonism, inhibition of dihydrotestosterone and receptors, which contribute to the reduction of prostate tissue proliferation.
Rye pollen (Secale cereale) has a number of effects, including relaxation of the urethra and bladder, and relaxation of smooth muscle through antagonism of α-adrenergic receptors.
Additional mechanisms include induction of apoptosis in prostate epithelial cells and inhibition of prostaglandin and leukotriene biosynthesis.
Through its anti-inflammatory effect, rye pollen reduces the size of the prostate gland in BPH, prostatitis, and prostatodynia, improving symptoms such as nocturia and frequent urination.
Recommendations for use
It is recommended to include in the diet as an additional source of biologically active substances and fatty acids, in order to normalize the functional state of the urinary system in men, with symptoms of the lower urinary tract, with discomfort during sexual intercourse, including benign prostatic hyperplasia and chronic prostatitis.
It is not a medicine.
Method of administration and doses
Adult men should take 1 capsule 2 times a day with meals. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.
Duration of use: 3 months. If necessary, the course of use is repeated on the recommendation of a doctor.
Application features
Regular daily consumption is especially important for normalizing the functional state of the prostate gland. The effectiveness of the components in relation to lower urinary tract symptoms is manifested 2-3 weeks after the start of use. Full effectiveness can be achieved no earlier than 3 months. It is recommended to use a complete and balanced diet, limit animal fats, sugar, sweets and alcohol.
Reservation
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
A dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet.

Increased individual sensitivity to any of the components.
