Xeroform plus 7 g

Xeroform has been used in combustiology and plastic surgery for several decades. It is a monocomponent powder of bismuth tribromophenolate (also known as xeroform), which has antiseptic, astringent and drying properties.

Bismuth tribromophenolate (xeroform) has antiseptic, astringent and drying properties. The action of the drug is to interact with tissue proteins to form albumins, which, like a protective film, protect sensitive nerve endings from irritation, as well as to constrict blood vessels, reduce their permeability (exudation decreases) and inhibit enzymes, the interaction with the proteins of microorganisms suppresses them.

Indications for use

As an astringent, drying and antiseptic agent for inflammatory skin diseases.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity.

Active ingredient: Bismuth tribromophenolate. 1 container contains bismuth tribromophenolate (xeroform) 7 g.

Method of application

It is used topically, the powder is applied to the affected areas of the skin. The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease and is determined individually.
