Yohimbine hydrochloride tablets are indicated for erectile dysfunction of various origins.
Composition
Active ingredient: yohimbine hydrochloride;
1 tablet contains yohimbine hydrochloride 5 mg;
Potato starch; lactose monohydrate, calcium stearate, hypromellose; celactose (a mixture of lactose, monohydrate, and powdered cellulose (75:25)).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Severe arterial hypotension. Presence of severe liver and kidney diseases, treatment with adrenomimetics.
Method of application
Administer to adults orally, during meals, without chewing, with a glass of water.
The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets 1-3 times a day.
The dose must be selected individually, starting with 2.5 mg of yohimbine 3 times a day and gradually increasing the dose to a maximum of 1-2 tablets (5-10 mg) 3 times a day.
If it is necessary to take yohimbine in a single dose of 2.5 mg, a drug with the possibility of such a dosage should be used.
The effect often occurs with a delay of 2-3 weeks. In case of side effects, it is recommended to reduce the dose. After the side effects disappear, the dose can be gradually increased.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and is 3-4 weeks.

Overdose
Symptoms of intoxication. Approximately 20-30 minutes after taking an excessive dose, general weakness, generalized paresthesias, memory and coordination disorders, severe headache, dizziness, tremor, tachycardia, arterial hypertension, feelings of fear and anxiety, a significant increase in the level of noradrenaline in the blood plasma (normally 150-550 pg / ml), nausea, vomiting, mydriasis, salivation and lacrimation, increased sweating occur. Approximately 4:00 hours later, chest pain occurs, which can last several hours. Headache, arterial hypertension and tachycardia can also persist for several hours.
Treatment. Drug withdrawal. In the early stages - gastric lavage with subsequent use of activated charcoal and sodium sulfate (Glauber's salt) or activated charcoal alone.
Side effects
Cardiac disorders: increased heart rate. Neurological disorders: headache, dizziness, sleep disturbances, nervousness, tremor, increased excitability, increased anxiety, mania, sweating. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: skin redness. Vascular disorders: increased blood pressure.Interaction
It should be prescribed with caution to patients with arterial hypertension, heart disease (ischemic heart disease, tachyarrhythmias), gastric and duodenal ulcers, renal or hepatic dysfunction, mental illnesses with affective symptoms or anxiety states, and glaucoma.
Should not be used in elderly patients.
It is not recommended to use the drug in cases of danger of sudden decrease in blood pressure with reflex tachycardia.
The drug contains lactose, therefore, if the patient has been diagnosed with an intolerance to some sugars, you should consult a doctor before taking this drug.
