Description

Instructions for use Yuvigast capsules No. 30

Composition

1 capsule contains: vitamin U (methylmethionine sulfonium chloride) - 150 mg (mg), chaga extract - 100 mg (mg), licorice root extract - 100 mg (mg), Japanese bitter root extract - 80 mg (mg); anti-caking agents: calcium stearate, aerosil; capsule shell: gelatin.

Properties

Vitamin U (methylmethionine sulfonium chloride) - ensures the normal functioning of the mucous membranes of the stomach and small intestine. It is characterized by analgesic and anti-ulcer effects, promotes epithelialization of the mucous membrane and healing of ulcers.

Effect on gastric and intestinal mucosal cells. Methylmethionine sulfonium chloride stimulates the production of mucin by the cells of the gastrointestinal mucosa, which helps to increase its protective function; activates the processes of restoration of gastric and intestinal mucosal cells, directly stimulating the process of regeneration of gastric and duodenal cells. Vitamin U stimulates the healing of damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Effect on the gastrointestinal tract when exposed to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and acetylsalicylic acid. Has a cytoprotective effect on the gastric mucosa when exposed to the harmful effects of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and acetylsalicylic acid. Promotes the activation of enzymes that accelerate the biosynthesis of high-molecular glycoproteins, and increases the content of mucus on the surface of the stomach wall, has a gastroprotective effect when exposed to NSAIDs on the mucosa.

Effect on infectious agents. Promotes improvement of blood supply to the gastric mucosa, activates its barrier function, activates alkaline secretion of the stomach, enhances proliferation and metabolism of gastric epithelial cells, helps cleanse the mucosa from hydroxyl radicals and suppresses superoxides. Has protective processes in the gastric mucosa against bacterial damage.

Effect on acidity and dyspeptic manifestations. Methylmethionine sulfonium chloride methylates histamine, which stimulates the production of hydrochloric acid, converting it into an inactive form. The transition of histamine into an inactive form - methylhistamine, leads to a decrease in the secretion of hydrochloric acid and reduces the likelihood of damage to the cells of the stomach and intestines. As a result, typical gastrointestinal disorders characteristic of an excess of histamine are reduced: heaviness in the abdomen, bloating and impaired intestinal motility. With insufficient secretion of hydrochloric acid, methylmethionine sulfonium chloride stimulates its production.

Effect on the gastrointestinal tract when exposed to ethanol. Methylmethionine sulfonium chloride has antioxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation processes, and helps protect the cells of the gastric mucosa from the aggressive effects of ethanol and its derivatives.

Effect on liver cells. Methylmethionine sulfonium chloride, having a lipotropic effect, has a protective effect on liver cells. It is able to reduce the level of total cholesterol and low-density lipids (bad cholesterol) in the blood. It prevents the replacement of liver tissue with fatty tissue and improves carbohydrate, protein and lipid metabolism in the liver.

With long-term use (for several months), methylmethionine sulfonium does not have a negative effect on the condition of the liver (its obesity), unlike methionine. The therapeutic dose for peptic ulcer disease is 250–300 mg.

Chaga, birch mushroom. Chaga extract is used as a general tonic, antimicrobial, regenerative, anti-inflammatory, analgesic drug, for gastrointestinal diseases. It helps normalize acidity and intestinal microflora, promotes scarring of gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Licorice roots and rhizomes. Contains glycopeptides of glycyrrhizinic acid, which have an anti-ulcer effect and accelerate the regeneration process in gastric ulcers. Licorice exhibits enveloping, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, anti-ulcer effects; normalizes pancreatic functions and ensures its secretion; provides protection of the gastrointestinal tract from the bacterium Helicobacter Pilori

Japanese mustard. Japanese mustard extract has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiparasitic and analgesic effect; improves detoxification processes in the body, increases the activity of regeneration of the gastric and intestinal mucosa, slightly reduces the acidity of gastric juice, and promotes adhesion of intestinal flora to the intestinal wall.

Recommendations for use

It can be recommended as an additional source of vitamin U (methylmethionine sulfonium chloride), a complex of biologically active substances contained in extracts of chaga, licorice root and Japanese bitter root in order to create optimal dietary conditions for the normal functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, helps protect the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum. Promotes the secretory-motor function of the gastrointestinal tract and normal digestive processes.
