Composition

Bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), calcium butyrate (source of oleic acid), bulking agent (high density hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), inulin (fructooligosaccharide), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), film-forming agent (Aquapolish FWhite 110, 12E, containing: calcium carbonate, sorbitol, talc, sodium alginate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, glycerol), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), Lactobacillus helveticus LH060-LMG-P31392, Bifidobacterium longum Synbalance BI072 – DSM 26197, stabilizer (polyvinylpyrrolidone), dye (patent blue). Non-GMO.

Application

Dietary supplement to the diet - an additional source of oleic acid, vitamin D3, inulin, lacto- and bifidobacteria. Due to the complex action of the components, Zafacol IQ contributes to: normal functioning of the cells of the mucous membrane of the large intestine, elimination of discomfort in the intestinal area, stool regulation, maintenance of normal balance and optimization of the qualitative composition of the intestinal microflora, improvement of the quality of life and psycho-emotional state of a person.

According to publicly available literature sources, the components that make up Zafacol IQ have the following properties:

Butyric acid refers to short-chain fatty acids that are formed in the large intestine during fermentation and fiber digestion by microbiota and perform the following functions:

• improves the protective barrier of the intestinal mucosa and prevents the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms and toxins from the intestinal lumen into the bloodstream, which may reduce the risk of developing certain autoimmune, allergic, inflammatory, neurological and metabolic conditions;
• stimulates the synthesis of mucin (a special protective layer of the intestinal wall);
• improves the condition and functioning of the normal intestinal microbiota by stimulating antimicrobial substances and regulating the pH of intestinal contents;
• provides energy to body cells (including intestinal epithelial cells and brain cells), restores their membranes;
• strengthens the connection between mucosal cells by increasing the expression of tight junction proteins (claudin, occludin, zonulin);
• regulates the normal development of intestinal mucosa cells;
• regulates the balance of the inflammatory response;
• has an antioxidant effect;
• regulates intestinal motility;
• regulates the processes of absorption and excretion of water and electrolytes in the intestines;
• reduces the increased sensitivity of the intestines to external stimuli and reduces unpleasant sensations in the intestines;

INULIN is a fructooligosaccharide (a complex carbohydrate of plant origin), which belongs to the group of prebiotics and is fermented by the normal intestinal microbiota to form endogenous oleic acid.

Properties

• promotes the restoration of normal intestinal microbiota and the suppression of pathogenic microorganisms;
• regulates intestinal motility;
• promotes the absorption of vitamins and trace elements (calcium, magnesium and others);
• improves carbohydrate and fat metabolism in the body (reduction of glucose, triglycerides and cholesterol);
• improves detoxification, secretory, excretory and immune function of the gastrointestinal tract.

LACTOBACILLUS and BIFIDOBACTERIUM are components of the normal intestinal microbiota and contribute to:

• maintenance and normalization of intestinal microbiota and protection against intestinal infections due to a high degree of attachment to the intestinal mucosa, which inhibits activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic flora, production of organic acids (lactic and acetic) and lowering the pH level in the intestine;
• reducing the permeability of the intestinal mucosa to pathogens, toxins and allergens;
• increasing the rate of mucosal regeneration;
• improving digestion and absorption of nutrients, vitamins and minerals;
• synthesis of B vitamins, vitamin K, folic and nicotinic acids;
• absorption of calcium and vitamin D 3;
• normalization of intestinal peristalsis

Lactobacillus Helveticus and Bifidobacterium Londum help reduce feelings of anxiety, stress, and depression due to their anxiolytic effect.

VITAMIN D 3 (cholecalciferol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that performs the following functions:

• maintains the necessary levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood for bone formation and preservation of their structure;
• regulates muscle tone;
• promotes the preservation and restoration of the protective barrier of the intestinal mucosa by strengthening tight intercellular contacts and improving the state of normal intestinal microbiota (stimulates the production of antimicrobial substances);
• regulates the normal development of intestinal mucosa cells;
• participates in the regulation of the body's immune activity;
• regulates the balance of the inflammatory response;
• has an antioxidant effect.

Method of administration and doses

Children from 12 years old take 1 tablet per day, adults take 1-2 tablets per day.

Take orally, after meals, without chewing, with drinking water. The tablet should not be broken.

The recommended duration of use is 30 days. Further use is determined by the doctor individually.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Contraindication

Individual sensitivity to the components of the product, children under 12 years of age, pregnant women, lactating women. This product is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of any diseases, and should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Storage conditions

Expiration date
