Composition

active ingredients: tincture of belladonna leaves, tincture of lily of the valley herb, tincture of valerian rhizomes with roots, racemic menthol;

1 ml of the drug contains tincture of belladonna leaves (Belladonnae folia) (1:10) (extractant – ethanol 40%) 0.2 ml; tincture of lily of the valley herb (Convallariae herba) (1:10) (extractant – ethanol 70%) 0.4 ml; tincture of valerian rhizomes with roots (Valerianae rhisoma cum radicibus) (1:5) (extractant – ethanol 70%) 0.4 ml; racemic menthol 8 mg.

Main physicochemical properties: transparent liquid of greenish or yellow-brown color with a characteristic odor.

Pharmacodynamics.

The drug has sedative, antispasmodic, cardiotonic, analgesic effects due to biologically active substances that are part of the drug. Due to the content of belladonna tincture, it accelerates the heart rate.

Autonomic neurosis, bradycardia.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Organic lesions of the heart and blood vessels, glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy.

Special safety precautions

Elderly patients and children over 12 years of age should use the drug with caution due to the content of belladonna tincture (an alkaloid of the atropine group).

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

The drug enhances the effect of sedatives, hypnotics, neuroleptics, tranquilizers on the central nervous system, cardiotonics, analgesics. Reduces the effect of antiarrhythmic drugs prescribed for tachycardia.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Contraindicated.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

During treatment with the drug, you should refrain from driving vehicles and working with other mechanisms.

Method of administration and doses

Internally, adults should use 20-25 drops 2-3 times a day, diluting with a small amount of water. Children over 12 years old - at the rate of 1 drop per 1 year of life 2-3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor.

Children

Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Overdose

Palpitations, dry mouth, accommodation disorders, dilated pupils, headache, dizziness, general weakness, nausea, tachycardia may occur. If signs of overdose are detected, it is necessary to stop using the drug and consult a doctor for symptomatic therapy.

Side effects

Neurological disorders: psychomotor agitation, drowsiness, depression, decreased mental and physical performance, emotional suppression, headache, dizziness, visual disturbances.

Cardiac disorders: tachycardia.

Gastrointestinal: dry mouth, thirst, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation.

Musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders: muscle weakness.

Allergic reactions, including skin redness, rash, itching, swelling.

General disorders: increased body temperature.
