Description
ZEST® Omega Concentrate is a source of omega-3 PUFAs from fish oil.
Omega-3 PUFAs play an important role in maintaining a healthy heart, cardiovascular system, normal blood pressure, vascular tone, normal blood clotting, and help reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases. Omega-3s help improve mental performance, memory, and nervous system function, help strengthen the immune system, and help maintain healthy vision.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) helps maintain normal levels of triglycerides in blood serum, counteracts the development of inflammatory processes in the body and oxidative stress, and plays a positive role in maintaining the health of the immune and cardiovascular systems.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is the main omega-3 PUFA in the gray matter of the brain, it accounts for about 15% of all PUFA in the human frontal cortex, has a positive effect on the transmission of nerve impulses and plays an important role in supporting mental activity, activating memory and learning ability.
