Composition
active ingredients: menthol, camphor, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, clove oil, cinnamon oil;
1 pencil tube contains menthol 658 mg, camphor 124 mg, peppermint oil 258 mg, eucalyptus oil 65 mg, clove oil 5 mg, cinnamon oil 6 mg;
excipient: mineral oil.
Dosage form
Balm for inhalation.
Main physical and chemical properties: white plastic tube with a tightly screwed lid. Inside the tube is a cylindrical filter impregnated with ingredients; specific smell of essential oils.

Pharmacological properties
The drug belongs to the group of agents that stimulate receptors of mucous membranes, skin and subcutaneous tissues. It has anti-inflammatory, local warming, antiseptic, anesthetic properties, dilates capillaries, thus improving blood supply and slightly lowering blood pressure, acts on the reflex centers of the central nervous system, showing a stimulating effect. The action of the inhaler pencil is manifested by the weakening of the inflammatory process and the reflex elimination of pain (head, muscle) caused by influenza, colds and other factors.
Indication
Symptomatic treatment of colds, runny nose, headaches, dizziness, nausea.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup, tendency to bronchospasm or seizures.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Studies on the interaction of the drug with other drugs have not been conducted.
Application features
For external use only. Avoid contact of the balm with eyes, mucous membranes and open wounds.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Due to the lack of experience with the use of Zirka balm during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is not recommended to prescribe the drug to this category of patients.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
In case of adverse reactions from the nervous system (dizziness, agitation, convulsions), you should refrain from driving or working with other mechanisms.
Method of administration and doses
Inhale carefully, holding the inhaler near your nose. 1–2 inhalations in each nostril 10–15 times a day, until symptoms disappear.
Children
Contraindicated for children under 3 years of age.
The drug should be used with caution in children over 3 years of age in the facial area, as it may cause bronchospasm.
Overdose
Possible increased manifestations of adverse reactions, a feeling of intense heat and burning.
Accidental ingestion may cause abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, symptoms of central nervous system depression, dizziness, ataxia, convulsions, hot flashes, drowsiness, and difficulty breathing.
Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.
Side effects
Allergic reactions, including skin rashes, hives, itching, irritation of the skin and mucous membranes.
From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, agitation; possible occurrence of convulsions caused by camphor.
On the part of the respiratory system: the likelihood and frequency of bronchospasm increases, especially in children.

5 years.

Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
